HRP staffing HRP hospital recruiting partners Scam, waste of time, asking for money, not a real address Plaistow, New Hampshire |
13th of Jul, 2011 by User345277 |
I was contacted by this company to help them with their "outreach, marketing, and business development" efforts. HRP staffing is supposedly a recruitment agency that finds medical personal to fill in positions at hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical facilities. I was given the address to a "webinar interview." Once I logged in, I noticed that there were 130 other "interviewees" in the "audience" with me. This was the first suspicious part of this whole situation. What kind of "interview" includes 130 people at a time? After the presenter went through 40 minutes of presenting about the work the company does, the catch came at the end. So, in addition to ONLY getting paid when you actually fill a position at a hospital, you have to PAY HRP staffing to even start working. They ask for an initial payment of $350 because they need to cover the costs of their IT department and database entry software. I've never had a job where I had to PAY the company to actually start working FOR them. So I am pretty sure these guys are scammers and they get desperately unemployed individuals to pay them. Since they are in a different state, it will most likely will be hard to pursue them and see what's going on. In fact, their address is a P.O. Box 972 Plaistow, NH 03865. Once you google map it and take a look, there is nothing actually there... AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS |

Got an email from Devon at HRP at 2 O'clock this morning. This was the first thing that told me it was a scam. What "Employment Generalist" sends an interview offer at 2 A.M? I went to the website, the front page looks ok... but then you look a little deeper, and it's a joke! I didn't even think about setting up the "Interview" I've never seen where you have to register for the interview. Watch out people, don't fall for a scam!! |

I via e-mail by them today, after reading all of the other comments I know that I will not be contacting these scammers anytime soon ..Thanks for the heads up.

I have gotten two emails from this company. I am glad I found the scaminformer website. I have forwarded the email I received to: [email protected]
I suspect that I would have kept on receiving this email until I responded. Gmail has a spam function.
I used this so I should not be getting anymore emails. |

I am actually on the interview right now. I have never heard of a job that interviews over the web and not inperson. This is unusual for any type of business unless they are already familiar with the person. Thanks for posting, your comments. I found this to be very weird and decided to research them and found your comments.-Saved by the bell. |

I got constant emails from these so-called "reputable" companies informing me that my resume was passed on to them by someone else. I look at who sent the email, realize it isn't a company that I have ever heard of, and send it on its merry way to happy Spamland where it can co-mingle with other similar emails in order to breed MORE spam-certified business correspondence. I don't know how half of these companies actually manage to stay in business when all they do is falsify information and try to pass it off as "credible." Please, we weren't born yesterday! Like I'm going to believe that some random company I've never heard of is supposed to exist in my nearby town when I can open a phone book and see that there is no mention of them whatsoever! |

I was emailed the same thing and thought it didn't sound right, the first thing I noticed was it give the Name of the company so I searched it and came up with this. I am THANKFULL TO ALL YOU FOLKS who took the time to come hear and share your info, be it your research or your experience "trying" to interview for these creeps. How low can you be to try to take advantage of people SEEKING employment... I guess life is full of leaches!! Here's the one they sent to me. SCAM!!!

Ha, I am actually listening to the "sales pitch' right now. I searched scam when it first started and am glad I found this information, although I would never have paid them anyway. So since it's a rainy day, I didn't really waste my time. It's a little comical now. Maybe I should post this page link in the chat box when he opens it and others can check it out! |

I am desperate for work. I will be homeless in a few weeks and have been actively going out on interviews only to be 'forgotten'. I do not have the time or patience for these scams. |

Who the hell pays money to get a job anyway?
Are there still gullible people in the world like that? |

If you feel that a crime has been committed over the internet you can contact the state's attorney general for the location of the company allegedly involved. Also, it is advisable to contact the FBI at ic3.gov and the Federal Trade Commission at ftccomplaintassistant.gov should you feel that a company has been operating in bad faith. ? |

There’s a business purporting to be in Plaistow, NH called Hospital Recruiting Partners, which is recruiting people daily, at $200 per head to join it’s staff as hospital recruiters. I joined them nearly a month ago and found out it’s a rip-off.
I attended a webinar where they explained their training program, which consisits of rudimentary web videos, and paid $200 for their traini, ng manual. Then I spent the last month calling hospitals to recruit on two of several “hot jobs” listed on HRP’s website–director-level nursing jobs in a hospital listed in Denver, CO, and one in San Antonio, TX– that don’t exist, as I found out today after calling the HR departments at the two particular hospitals themselves. In the meantime, I garnered several resumes and e-mailed them to HRP. None of these candidates have been placed for any jobs yet, as of yesterday.
Here are some more facts:
1.HRP uses a PO Box as an address and a very generic web site. Another address has them at 1666 Plaistow Rd., Plaistow, NH.
2.There are countless internet blog entries about it being a scam; if you Google “HRP Staffing Scam, ” they will be shown.
a. Some of these entries refer to 130 or more people attending the initial recruitment Webinars in which they webinar speaker shows a clock that is ticking giving you only so much time to sign up for rapidly vanishing recruiter slots…which can be bought with a credit card…multiply $200 per head by 130 head… and that’s a chunk of change…from people all over the US… daily!!!
3.They have 3 NH BBB entries against them each to which they failed to respond to
4.They had a recruiter in house that I was dealing with to interview my candidates disappear.. for 4 days last week… during a time when I thought the candidates I had were being presented to the hospitals, leaving me wondering what was going on. It prompted me to Google HRP Staffing and find out all of the rip-off comments you will see, as did I.
In summation, I think you could produce a good story with this, because in tight economic times, the company is preying on the unemployed in a bold fashion. Kinda wild to find out you’re scammed after watching a webinar. That’s how bold these guys are; they’re not even afraid to show their faces.
There’s even a video of the webinar on You Tube. Again, Google HRP Staffing scam…and you’ll get a lot of info. |

For those of you who believe, as I do, that you have been scammed by Hospital Recruiting Partners, or HRP Staffing, we have a site on Linkedin where we are trying to get everyone we can find together and our ultimate goal is the recovery of our funds and the bringing down under criminal charges of HRP Staffing.
I guess I was just so excited about getting a job at my age I let all the visible signs slide by. Well, they really hurt me financially and I have no intention of putting up with that.
If you are interested in joining us here is our address.

Not only did the guy interviewing LOOK sketchy, but everything he said about the company was purely generic. It also did not make a lot of sense. At all. I do not like vagueness, so 2 mins into it I googled HRP staffing. Haha I woke up 5 mins before it started and then when it did I called BS. It didn't feel right. I hope that no one wastes there money. I didn't get anywhere near that far. I got 5 mins in and left. No more webinars. Ever. |

Complete Scam. On the conference call right this second and by looking thru the WebEx info it shows 3 attendees, yet the speaker is pretending to answer questions from dozens of authors. And someone just walked in saying "We're down to just 2 positions!" |
|
|
I just completed the interview portion with HRP staffing. All throughout the interview, even though the spill sounds very good, I kept telling myself that if this guy asks for money I am going to click out of the interview as fast as possible and sure enough at the end of the presentation he did ask for 199.00 to cover training IT/software expenses and out of 100's of other potential (interviewees) who were attending the webinar the company only wanted 25 Executive Recruiters...It's a real shame that this so-called-company is trying to take advantage of the unemployed as well as underminding the medical profession that really is going through a crisis of not having enough nurses to staff hospitals/nursing homes and other medical facilities. That why the spill was so believable to me. I have a cousin who is a nursing supervisor and she speaks all the time of the shortage of nurses...SHAME OF HRP!!! |

Hello thanks for this site I got an email from them also and listen to the whole thing until the end, how is it I need to pay to get a job, if this is the case let me work and then take it out of my first pay check, instead they want you to pay then reimburse you on the first pay makes no sense. This is a scam, don't fall for it! |
|
|
I got this same email and listen the whole thing, The problem is why do you need to pay to get a job and then they will reimburse you at your first paycheck, why don't they just deduct it from your first paycheck if you need to pay something, I think they do this back way. This is a rip off! |

This is one of dozens that I get. What the hell is America coming too??? What happened to morals, ethics, honesty and all of the good words that people have lived and yes, died for to make this country great.
My head spins with all of this BS and I am heartfelt sad about those good people who
will loose what they can not afford to loose $$$$. |
|
|
THANK YOU!!! I appreciate your honesty here and not wasting my time. I started thinking about this and as the rest of you started becoming suspicious . I started digging and came upon you all. Thanks again!!! |
