HRP staffing HRP hospital recruiting partners Scam, waste of time, asking for money, not a real address Plaistow, New Hampshire |
13th of Jul, 2011 by User345277 |
I was contacted by this company to help them with their "outreach, marketing, and business development" efforts. HRP staffing is supposedly a recruitment agency that finds medical personal to fill in positions at hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical facilities. I was given the address to a "webinar interview." Once I logged in, I noticed that there were 130 other "interviewees" in the "audience" with me. This was the first suspicious part of this whole situation. What kind of "interview" includes 130 people at a time? After the presenter went through 40 minutes of presenting about the work the company does, the catch came at the end. So, in addition to ONLY getting paid when you actually fill a position at a hospital, you have to PAY HRP staffing to even start working. They ask for an initial payment of $350 because they need to cover the costs of their IT department and database entry software. I've never had a job where I had to PAY the company to actually start working FOR them. So I am pretty sure these guys are scammers and they get desperately unemployed individuals to pay them. Since they are in a different state, it will most likely will be hard to pursue them and see what's going on. In fact, their address is a P.O. Box 972 Plaistow, NH 03865. Once you google map it and take a look, there is nothing actually there... AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS |

I attended the webinar where they were recruiting "only" 20 people for $199. I called the number and asked for their physical address, which the guy could not give me. He asked me to hold and got a lady on the phone that gave me this address 160 Plaistow Road, Plaistow, NH. Do yourself a favor, Google Earth that address. Middle of nowhere. I then asked her if she was not ashamed scamming people. I got hungup on. During this time I was still logged into the webinar and the "recruiter" was busy with answering questions. I posted a comment that had a link to this scaminformer site. It wasn't 30 seconds before the guy did not know what to say and he was clearly rattled, after which I was booted from the webinar.

I am so glad I looked up HRP Staffing. I sit here looking for employment each and every day hoping only to find something to pay my bills and with Tea Party, Wars, 9 to11% unemployment, union busting, how can anyone try to scam us about jobs.
Haven't we been scamed enough. Thanks to all who have put their input on this blog about this--- I guess company is not a good word is it !!!

I joined the interview and asked the presenter to talk about scams. I said specifically, "Talk about scams mother f_ucker. He said "Ken thank you for the kind words" and then disconnected me from the webcast.

I did as well just attended the webinar and found lots of red flags. I must admit I beleived it when I got their email, because I get many of its kind and most of them from legit recruiters. However, while attending the webinar (which I think is staged), I noticed that the presenter was saying that people are calling to reserve spots (40 nationwide) and that it was going down to 18. I called and got a lady on the first ring. So I asked her if I could reserve a spot and pay later. Well you probably guessed the answer :-). She took ny name and number and said that she will let me know if a spot will be available. Also during the webinar, non of my questions were answered, why the presenter was supposedlly reading and answering questions of what i think are make beleive names. The webinar was well rehurssed! During the webinar I checked BBB and there were not listed. I googled them and that's when I saw all these complaints and reports on them.
What a low life! to actualy plan to take advantage of people already in disstress and in need of positive support regarding this whole economic mess. Clearly they need to be stoped. But I hope that the American people (supposedly well educated) are not so desperate to not stop and think twice before falling to these kinds of scamers. But hey where else can this kind of things occur, but only in America!
Where is the humanity, respect, love, dignity, values etc... that we owe one another? remember this slogan "UNITED WE STAND, DEVIDED WE FALL".
Nothing in this life will last forever, and every begin has an end. Why would one leave so much evil behind? The devil is alive and is among us. Beware!!!
Peace. |

Hey all, just received the same email and kind of thought it was suspicious since it was in my spam folder, however, I did read the email since I am looking for a better job and decided to look into it seeing as I have sales and marketing experience but not an ounce of experience in health care.
As soon as I put the HRP Staffing email in the google search I found this site stating it's a scam. To reiterate what everyone else is saying, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is and I'm not in a position to pay money for a job, isn't that why we all work? To get paid?
Thanks for all the postings and a lot of trouble avoided!!! |

Thanks for the orginal positing that this was a scam and to all who shared their experiences! They contacted me today and I am so glad I read everyone's comments on this company! The first flag for me was the web interview, the next was their vague website. Continued luck to all who are still job searching! |

I was just contacted by them today for a webinar and something just did not see right. Icould not find them on LinkedIn and no tweets on twitter. So I googled them and found this page confirming my suspicions!
Thanks, much appreciated... |

hrpstaffing has been contacting me frequently to interview with them and given these useful comments posted here, I declined...they are still contacting me...SO WATCH OUT especially a person named Nicole Page 877-636-4067 [email protected] (most likely a made-up name)...what a joke!! |

Have to say that looking a company up on www.alexa.com and saying if it's not there then it's a fake is incorrect. I looked up the company I work for which is a big company and it didn't come up. I also looked up other companies I worked for and they didn't so it's not reliable. I will say I did join in on a webinar yesterday and I do believe it to be a scam |
|
|
I have to say that that I checked out the website one person mentioned here www.alexa.com and it's not reliable. I put the big company I work for and one I previously worked for and neither showed up so cannot always be trusted. Also I did view the webinar yesterday and I believe it's a fake as well. This time it was $199. |

I am minutes away from a web based interview and thought I should check them out. They contacted me and then my time slot was for the next day. I thought it was odd to be given so little time, but now I understand why. Thanks for the heads up! |

I am suppose to have an interview in 5 minutes . But, after listening to this I am not going to participate. Thanks for the info. |
