HRP staffing HRP hospital recruiting partners Scam, waste of time, asking for money, not a real address Plaistow, New Hampshire |

I was contacted by this company to help them with their "outreach, marketing, and business development" efforts. HRP staffing is supposedly a recruitment agency that finds medical personal to fill in positions at hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical facilities. I was given the address to a "webinar interview." Once I logged in, I noticed that there were 130 other "interviewees" in the "audience" with me. This was the first suspicious part of this whole situation. What kind of "interview" includes 130 people at a time? After the presenter went through 40 minutes of presenting about the work the company does, the catch came at the end. So, in addition to ONLY getting paid when you actually fill a position at a hospital, you have to PAY HRP staffing to even start working. They ask for an initial payment of $350 because they need to cover the costs of their IT department and database entry software. I've never had a job where I had to PAY the company to actually start working FOR them. So I am pretty sure these guys are scammers and they get desperately unemployed individuals to pay them. Since they are in a different state, it will most likely will be hard to pursue them and see what's going on. In fact, their address is a P.O. Box 972 Plaistow, NH 03865. Once you google map it and take a look, there is nothing actually there... AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS |

I am actually listening to the presentation as I type this and figured I'd google the company to find a bit out. Love this site, thank you!
The cost they are looking for is $199 and saying it is fully refunded upon your first replacement. I sent in a question about time limit for 1st placement to receive reimbursement...the speaker hasn't answered the question?! He did answer my question that a commission is paid after 30 days of employment. The fast talking, limited number of spots...call now presentation is definitely a turn off. Not sure if it's a scam or not...guess it depends on how well this company is viewed as a successful credible recruiter and if there's a loop hole for reimbursement. They did list some hospitals that they supposedly service I would definitely recommend doing homework before giving up precious hard earned money! |

I, too, have been contacted by these apparent scammers. I thank the reality police for saving me from a lot of heartache and fraud... |

If you get as far as having a Webinar set-up, you will see a supposed CNN Money website touting the "recruiter" as a top 10 job. If you look closely at the web page, article titles, author titles, and other items ... you cannot find these terms, names, articles on the net, or through an academic search engine for journal articles, reports, and studies. |

This is a scam. I received the same email about interview request and this man just rambles on and on about hospital recruiting, blah, blah, blah! WHile he was talking, I googled the name of the company and found all these comments on how its a scam and they ask for money at the end of it. As I was on the call it started out with 447 participants and before I hung up it was down to 388. So I suppose everyone was getting suspicious and did the same thing I did. Such a shame to take advantage of people who are really looking for work. |

Hello all,
Sat through the "corporate overview" At the end it's like a sales pitch auction, like he's selling knives in a shopping mall. . He stays on the phone LIVE while asking you to sign up. Can't take you later because they need you to start NOW. Umm, this doesn't make any sense at all. He's actually waiting for us to make the payment!
I would not go through with this. |

I sat through this "corporate overview". A joke. At the end he actually sits on the call and WAITS while you sign up. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE he says. You cannot sign up later because they need to get us all started NOW.
$199 to start... I don't think so. |

This company is completely legitimate and i would suggest getting 100% of the information before you begin making several false accusations...I would suggest spending more of your time in a productive manner. |

Wow...I received the same email also...it did state " they got my resume from the VP" which we all know VP's are not involved with recruiting nor do they care to review resumes...but it peeked my interest & I attended the webinar...as all the emails I read above, there was over 75 people on the webinar, the person conducting the interview was unprofessional ( he was in a class room, you could see the chalkboard). He seemed very short patienced with people asking questions about the BBB/ or a physical address, & he wouldnt give an address he said you had to call the 877 6364067... I called it and spoke to Amy she wouldn't give me an physical address she acts as if she couldn't hear me repeatedly ask her so I hung up on her ...yes it sounds good to work from home and make $2000 per recruited employee, plus it makes sense hospitals are growing. But be smart about it NEVER PAY A STAFFING COMPANY... your unemployed and can put the money ($200) in your savings or retirement...& I never was able to find their website...

I just had an interview session with them last night. There were 233 people in the webinar. As soon as the price of $199 was mentioned the attendees went from 233 down to 170 and kept dropping... When I started asking the "right" questions I was asked to call the 877# that was listed to have my questions answered with more detail.
What a scam! |

I was just on this website today. Unemployed and looking for an income, at first thought this was a great opportunity. However, Scott acts like he might have a substance abuse issue! I kept listening. I did go to google after he asked for the $199. I found so many scam reports. I posted my concerns in the chat section. The first two times he asked me to call in, but when I told him the exact place (HRP Staffing Scam?), he cut my connection. I think what they are doing is terrible.
I really hope all the registrations he got today are fake. I wanted to be able to say something to the others. He is really taking advantage of those who are not computer savvy and desperately looking for work. |

Yeah i was contacted by these idiots too. Unfortunately i did sit there and listen to an idiot talk for 40 minutes, and when he said they are asking 200$ i gave them a call. The only question i asked was "Is this legal'. As soon as i asked she hang up on me. I would recommend anyone who gets an email from these people to just ignore it, they are absolutely fake. Fake company, fake website, fake address, everything about them stinks as scam! In teh end, who has an interview with 240 people at the same time! I mean really!!! |

I was contacted by them today also and am grateful for your posting. I can not believe these sort of scammers are out to take advantage of the unemployed. Sad that it was not a true job offer. Thank you so much for posting the warning on the internet. Unemployed in Portland, Oregon... |

Yes. Thanks to all of you who did research. I was on my way to check and saw this. Again, thanks. |
|
|
I was also contacted! Thank the Lord for the internet! That's because I googled them, and saw this website. Whoever started this website to give this info on this scam company: THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU! Isn't it terrible to take advantage of all of us who are out of work? Bad Karma!
But THANK YOU, THANK YOU to the people who took the time and started this to let us know the truth. Really GOOD karma will be coming to you!
Sincerely,
Gloria |

Obviously a scam. My friend got an email and excitedly showed me. Red flags flew up immediately. What company doesn't want to sit their candidates down and ensure they're not a complete slob or that they have basic human interaction skills? Every company likes to brag about how many offices they have in various cities or at least include pictures of some scenic building for bragging purposes. The only phone number listed is to their "HR Department". Really? That's the only department you have? No Sales? Really? And when I went to "Nicole's" extension, the mailbox was conveniently full. So was every other mailbox.
A quick google search brought me here. Thanks everyone for your input. Reading that the company wants people to pay for the priviledge of hearing their sales pitch is just horseshit. Don't fall for these people. |

Thank you all for your postings. Just like all of you, I received a request for an Interview today (Sunday) which seemed really odd. Then I noticed the email address which again caused suspicion. Once I registered for the webinar, I thought about the fact that I would be interviewing with a number of people at one time which opens the door for a scamming opportunity. Then, I remembered the email stated that my resume was forwarded to him (Devon Barrett) the sender, but the email was signed by Chelsea Cader. So I googled this company and found this site and thank you guys so much for saving me and many others much time, money, and grief...I agree, times are hard enough and something should be done about what they are doing to people who are seriously trying to find employment. |
|
|
I just wanted to thank the previous posters for their comments. I just received an e-mail from this company. It's a shame that there are those who prey upon the unemployed. |
|
|
I am on the webinar right now but thanks to all this info I am exiting :) Thanks! I was suspicious since I received the email but since I am looking for a job, I thought it would not hurt. You should not have to shed out money to get a job. This is ridiculous and his voice is annoying me. |
|

Well, will add this. Took part in their webinar and it's just like others have stated. I contacted University Chicago Medical Center and was told by their nursing administration and their recruiting office that they do INTERNAL recruiting ONLY. No outside agencies are used. They have their own office of recruiters. Unfortunately, I was one of the gullible ones and didn't find this site until after i signed up. Thankfully nothing's been charged yet and had the opportunity to contact my bank and kill the card. Now that I've had my idiot moment...it's back into the employment pool I go! Best of luck to others who are still looking. |
