HRP staffing HRP hospital recruiting partners Scam, waste of time, asking for money, not a real address Plaistow, New Hampshire |
13th of Jul, 2011 by User345277 |
I was contacted by this company to help them with their "outreach, marketing, and business development" efforts. HRP staffing is supposedly a recruitment agency that finds medical personal to fill in positions at hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical facilities. I was given the address to a "webinar interview." Once I logged in, I noticed that there were 130 other "interviewees" in the "audience" with me. This was the first suspicious part of this whole situation. What kind of "interview" includes 130 people at a time? After the presenter went through 40 minutes of presenting about the work the company does, the catch came at the end. So, in addition to ONLY getting paid when you actually fill a position at a hospital, you have to PAY HRP staffing to even start working. They ask for an initial payment of $350 because they need to cover the costs of their IT department and database entry software. I've never had a job where I had to PAY the company to actually start working FOR them. So I am pretty sure these guys are scammers and they get desperately unemployed individuals to pay them. Since they are in a different state, it will most likely will be hard to pursue them and see what's going on. In fact, their address is a P.O. Box 972 Plaistow, NH 03865. Once you google map it and take a look, there is nothing actually there... AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS |

I just sat thru the "webinar" and now they are asking $199.00 for the opportunity to join their team. The guy hosting the webinar couldn't keep his facts straight. I would think if you are doing as many webinars as they are doing 2/day x 4 days that you would know how many openings you have - First he said 25 per webinar, and then made a mistake and said 15, and quickly changed it back to 25 - but if there are 200 openings, wouldn't it be given on a first come first serve basis.
One of the things the guy mentioned at the end was that we would not be employees, but contractors and that was why we had to pay to get the proprietary software. I clicked off. |

I just sat through this webinar it is a scam the ask for only 20 people and they want $199. SCAM SCAM SCAM! |
|
|
I am so thankful I found this scam website before I wasted my time on a beautiful sunny day! Sad they are a scammer...pitiful they make money off the unemployed. I was hesitant because of the nature of the "interview" process. Glad to know for sure. Thank you! |

|
|

I too was contacted by them today. Glad I had forsight to check out this 'staffing' agency--it's probably another 'pyramid' scam like one that I interviewed with 2 wks ago--but spoke with a friend regarding another 'sales/marketing' position, that expects you to recruit for YOUR (yeh right) business, that YOU have to find the building/office and wind up furnishing it from your pocket--no assistance from the company (Pardigm)...but, they're making money off of your sales. Sorry--if I'm working, I'm working for cash in MY pocket. BEWARE-- www.hrpstaffing.com [email protected]
Good luck to everyone in your job search and common sense to research first and not be scammed ! |

I was scheduled for a "web interview" this morning and decided to research tHRP further while I was waiting. Thankfully, I stumbled across this web site prior to my so called interview.
I would never send anyone money as I'm unemployed, but you all saved me from wasting my time with these slimeballs. |

The email address was not the same as the person who signed the email - another big red flag. Email came from Chelsea Cader@... but the email was signed Jason Twombley and included his email address and a phone number with no area code. Don't waste your time! |

This is what the email they sent me looked like. Haha even if I had money, I wouldn't spend it on something like this. Thanks guys for posting all these comments about this "company". At least there are good people out there who look out for each other.

Yes, I just got a similar "interview invitation." There is an HRP Staffing website, but it is a different domain than that from which these e-mails are originating. The one originating the e-mails is "under construction, " and is not even its own domain, it's a subdomain under Comcast and probably set up by a customer who is running a scam.
Stay away from it.
PS, the funny thing is, I am a former health industry whistleblower. I would no sooner try to return to the healthcare industry than I would try to have sex with a meat grinder. |

I sitting in their webinar right now, and I'm reading all of these reports. As an ardent job searcher I can only feel disgust over those who would pray on people like me, by enticing them with what amounts to a big lie.
I feel stupid for wasting my time. Time I could have used for "real job search"!
Thanks guys. |
|
|
JUST PUT ON THEIR WEBINAR..."THIS IS A SCAM"...HE SAID, "jULIANN THANKS FOR YOUR KINDS WORDS">
Really???????
Then said to him, "why would we PAY YOU to work for YOU?" |
|
|
Has anyone attend the webinar? Has anyone paid the money and found out it was a scam? |
