Strax Rejuvenation Breast Lift is Giving Me Nightmares, Sunrise, Florida |
30th of Nov, 2011 by User385416 |
After a year has passed since I had my breast lift and augmentation I am having nightmares because of the lact of communication and the caliber of customer service at Strax. Not only have I been in pain due to the type of suturing that was done on my nipples, I have had to live with infection draining out and my husband not able to touch me. It was explained to me on the second phone call today that Dr. Gordon uses a technigue that leaves a stitch around the inside of the nipple to keep the aereola from spreading back out after surgery. The stitch contained germs and my skin healed over it. After a time my body started fighting the infection and I had redness, swelling and drainage from my nipple. Last night my body finally pushed out the suture material where I was able to grasp it with tweezers and pull it out far enough to cut it and remove it from my breast. It is about three inches long and a heavy blue suture material. I almost passed out and my husband flipped out. The surgeon today tried to give me alternatives as I go forward: iether have the stitch replaced to keep the aereola from spreading out or have the other suture removed out of the other breast so they would both spread out and look the same. I do not feel this is anything I should have to go through. After surgery I called and complained about the stitch in my right breast was causing pain an you could see it was pinching the tissue around it. They told me not to worry the stitches would desolve and it would heal fine. Dr. Gordon said everything was fine when I went for a check up. If this is true this should of been expl;ained to me that this could happen and what to look for. When I called in worried the person I spkoke with should of known enough about the procedure to recognise what was happening at the time and this could of been provented. I should not have to go back through surgery again. I have suffered for all this time because of the staff. I did not know what was happening, I was scared and did not know what to do. The surgeon today told me the stitch would have to be cut out because you can not treat an infection like this with antibiotics. So, I did not have any choice, it happened and now I will probably have to go through another surgery. I heard there ad on the radio many times and finnaly one day I got up enough nerve to call and make an appointment to do something for myself that would make me feel good after breast feeding two children I did not like to look at my breast in the mirror. Now, I may have to look at un even nippples and look like a freak if I do not want to go through surgery. Where is the fairness in this? I paid them for nice breast, not to have them destroyed. |
