Publix Merry Christmas Blockbuster SCAM Ocala, Florida

Spencer at Heather Plaza Publix is a real winner. I predict he will go far. We were shopping Christmas Eve at the store and had a free Blockbuster rental code. The code gives you one night free and you must return it by 9 p.m. the following day. The store had a white sign on the machine stating Publix were closed on Christmas so they would give you an EXTRA day rental free on "us". Well DUH. Silly me. I thought I could rent December 24th and return it December 26th when the store was open. NOPE. I got charged for the rental.

I called Blockbuster when the charge was pending...on my credit card..and they instead of reversing the charges gave me a free code.

I drive to Publix..and the @#$$%^&& code doesn't work.

OK..so now..Spencer says it is Blockbuster...and Blockbuster says GET this..we knew they were closed. so that's why we gave you the code...so you would get a free night.

Sorry the code did not work...

MUMBO JUMBO bull.

So for $1.06 I will shop Sweet Bay....and use Rxxxxx. They have outside return boxes...and I've never had a problem.

Spencer at Publix said he did not care if I did not want to shop Publix...

He is definitely TOP management material. I don't associate with firms that have bad vendors. I won't shop Publix and it sure was not a pleasure. I

m glad they only ripped me off for one dollar and six cents and the gas to drive back for the rental when the code did not work.

Sweet Bay is cheaper anyway.
