I ordered an Android tablet yesterday via the company's e-commerce site. Received a call today while in a meeting asking to call back with shipping address verification. When I called the number (877-345-6225) back several times, I received a recording, then was disconnected -- never able to reach customer service. They called back this afternoon and informed me the unit -- as described on their Web site -- comes standard with a "manufacturer's demo battery that is good for 10 minutes but not rechargeable and must be plugged in." If I wanted to actually carry the portable tablet around, I would need the "rechargeable battery upgrade for $24.99." I cancelled the order while on the phone and was told I will be charged a 25% restock & cancellation fee.
Nowhere on the web site does it state the product does not include a rechargeable battery (link: http://www.eglobalelectronics.com/featured-products/android-2-2-wifi-touch-screen-tablet-2gb-hd-w-camera.html)
After I was unable to reach customer service, I searched their company name and found dozens of fraud claims - including recurring monthly charges for 'memberships' even though never ordered or authorized.
I called my credit card company, cancelled my card and filed a fraud report. |

I ordered on November 27, I tried seven days later to contact someone but could not talk with anyone. I sent an email received a message that someone would contact me, no one ever called. I finally got to talk with Mike, he assured me that within two days I would receive a traking number, I never received it. I went on line to my account and there was a tracking number and it was a good number. I finally received the netbooks today with no instructions on how to use the netbooks or how to navigate. I have called my credit card company and made a claim. Do not order from this place. |

I am at a loss with this company EGlobal Electronics..no support whenever you call, you get an automated service that says no one is available to speak to you and it hangs up. I ordered a 7 in ipod at a good deal I thought, 79.99 for a 14 year old boy who doesn't have much. This was back on Nov 28. I have yet to see this item and the money is out of my account as of last week. This company needs to get sued or reported so we can all get our money back. I got a note from them naming people I could call at their company and no one ever answers. Has anyone reported them to any of the television investigation shows? Does they even have a building where they exist?? |

I also ordered 2 tablets from this scamming company. I have sent several emails on their site, tried calling them several times only to get voice mail, left several messages, but never received a return call.
I also noticed when I called them their name is now EGLOBAL WIRELESS. which is also listed as a scam. I sent several emails to them requesting they CANCEL MY ORDER, but have heard nothing back. I also let them know I would be getting a hold of the Attorney General...I tried sending an email to them from my own Email account only to find there email address is not valid. SOMEONE NEEDS TO SHUT THEM DOWN!! |

My order was placed on December 5th and I have yet to receive anything. I have sent 22 emails to them and finally was able to talk to mike on the phone. He assured me that he expedited my order and it would be there by Tuesday. So not true, this company is a SCAM. No one seems to be getting what we have ordered. I also will be contacting my CC company to put several locks on this account. This was a lesson learned, by me getting burned. :( |

I had the same experience as Hopefulmom. I ordered in late November, got scared after I read all the reviews of the site and finally got in contact with a guy name Mike. He upgraded my order and shipping also. He then assured me they would ship out 2 weeks ago.
IT IS NOW CHRISTMAS DAY AND WE HAVE NO NETBOOKS. MY KIDS ARE THANKFUL FOR JESUS AND I'M GRATEFUL THEY ARE GOOD KIDS, BUT THEY ARE A LITTLE SAD THAT THEY GOT JUMP DRIVES BUT NO NETBOOKS.
ALL OF US CAN TAKE THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT, BUT WE NEED TO START A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THEM. LETS SAVE THE NEXT PERSON FROM BEING A VICTIM! |

I placed an order on cyber Monday Theo order was not shipped out until December 11th I called eglobal and the same thing happened. A automated machine answered and after 6 minutes of waiting I was directed to a voicemail then disconnected. I called about 10 times emailed them to cancel the order before it shipped and no one ever got back to me. After I received the tablet I noticed it was a sample sent to me I called back about 5 times before I finally got through. The customer service lady was very rude and unpleasant. After speaking to her for 20 minutes she approved the return but I would be charged restocking and shipping fee 25%. That is the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. Nothing compares to that. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. The merchandise is not good and their service is the worst. |

Same as everyone else! I ordered 2 2.2 androids for my Grandchildren. After I ordered them, the billing and shipping addresses were switched.(I used my Mothers credit card).i followed tracking they said items were delivered but they never were and like most others a $10.00 fee was added 2 my order. There is no way to contact these people. You can call and leave a MSG. Don' t hold your breath waiting for a response. We are both disabled and live on very limited income.I thought I was getting a great deal, all I got was taken for a ride. So HOW do we get our money refunded?! |

SAME exact thing happened to me with the mini laptop. After I ordered online, a rep CALLED ME to sell me an 'uprgraded battery' because the battery that comes with the unit 'doesn't last more than an hour.' I was assured they would install the battery, and they gave me free shipping with the upgrade. I ended up returning the unit because the quality is awful. They will not refund me for the upgraded battery, even though I sent it back! They are saying that 'the terms are clearly stated on the website.' WELL - I didn't order the upgrade on the site, someone called me and sold it to me, and said NOTHING about it being non-refundable in the event of a return. Total ripoff. I have left 5 messages and sent multiple emails (which they stopped responding to once I asked for a manager.) I don't understand how companies get away with stuff like this! Oh and the ironic thing is that when you're on hold for 10 minutes waiting to talk to a rep (you never get through, you get transferred to voicemail) - the recording goes on and on about how they have been in business for ten years and how their customer service is so great. |
