We buy 14 containers c from M/s Hangzhou Legend Textile Co. Ltd China.
They shipped to us 12 containers mostly found short weight,
While still not arranged shipment of our last 2 containers,
Also they didnot fullfilled their promise to adjust short weight claims of US$ 9000.00
For pending shipment 2 containers we opened L/c 056/12321 on 4-Jan, 2011
Last date of shipment 20-March, 2011. (Copy Enclosed)
In End March 2011 L/c extended for shipment till 15th May, 2011.
During May 2011, we know from our market sources that weight is short in every container,
we request supplier to hold the shipment until matter will be resolved.
We physically checked the goods in our ware house
all cartons mentioned net weight were different than mentioned on packing list.
Our under clearance container, we sent directly from port to weight checking companie,
they weight the whole container first, than again weight the container after de-stuff the goods, The weight were finally short. (Copy Enclosed)
Hangzhou Legends knows the matter, because same types of complaint they
received from other importers of our market.
In June 2011, They settled with us claim US$ 9000.00
and Ms Catherine agreed to adjust this claim in pending order of 2 containers,
we amended & further extended our L/c till 10th July 2011.
On 18th July 2011, we received a email from catherine,
She informed us that if Hangzhou Legend will ship our pending order
they will lose too much (It is due to price increase)
While the claim of US$ 9000 will be adjusted in next orders.
Actually we already suffered due to short weight,
also due to non shipment of old price orders i.e. US$ 1.97/per kg
Kindly press them to ship our pending L/c after adjust their approved claims,
The L/c is already expired on 10th July 2011
we will try to extend the L/c, If any problem by our bank than we will open new L/c
We will be very much thankful to you for your kind efforts.
Best Regards
Muhammad Khalid.

I purchased a laser hair removal and tattoo removal machine from dhgate.com. The site directed me to "message seller" for information about the machine, which I did. After getting all the information, the seller placed the order for me, not telling me that I wasn't going through dhgate.com, but instead was dealing directly with his company.
When I got the machine in November 2012, I tried it out and it seemed to work ok. Did not use it on a customer at the time, just turned it on, followed the directions for putting it together, etc. When I went to use it about 6 weeks later, it did not work at all. I have been trying now for over a month to get a refund or a new machine. Dhgate, com is refusing to do anything about it because they say I did not go through them, even though their website directed me to the seller.
The seller of this machine is www.ygrace.com, Guangzhou Yting BeautySlim technology Co.LTD, 227 # Qiangsheng business building, Jiangxia town, balyun district, Gukangzhou, China. I have sent them many emails about this machine and gotten NO response. The have a money back guarantee but it doesn't do much good if they don't answer my emails. I spent $1170.00 for this machine. They are selling defective merchandise and making it impossible to get our money back.
Can you please help me with this situation? Thank you
