Celebrity Productions Funtime Vacations and Ultimate Cruise Passport. This is a SCAM Can We File A Class Action Lawsuit? Internet
8th of Jul, 2011 by User393441
I to went to one of the meetings in Washington, DC at the Holiday Inn at 2101 Wisconsin Ave and was given a coupon for a cruise ($99.00). I also mailed in the payment and then was sent a letter to mail in another $100.00. That $100.00 got my a 2 page color brochure (which by the way did not include the balcony room)asking for another $75.00 to be mailed to Tampa. I called and asked Pam Mercer about this and she said that I had to let the booking agent know about the discrepency. I sent the $75 in and yesterday spoke with an agent at Cruise Broker which said they had nothign to do with what Celebrity promised but they would be happy to upgrade me for a fee. The "free Crusie" inside cabin was going to cost me $468 per person to book. Not even close to the fees that is stated on the papers. They are very restrictive to the dates you can book. They are crooks plain and simple! The Hotels that are allowing them to book these events need to distance themselves from these types of activities not to damage their own reputation. I have started looking for an Attorney to find out if we can file a class action suit against these companies because we are all victims.

I too have paid a substantial amount of money for a cruise but have received a holiday club card instead for my money and am told that if I also send 75 dollars to Tampa Florida I will then be able to book our cruise. They won't receive payment by Mastercard so it will cost me in the region of £20 on top of the 75 dollars to send this to them. My question is, will I eventually receive the tickets for our chosen cruise? I am getting very wary as I haven't anything to show for the monies I have already paid. Do I stop before I send the registration fee or do I carry on in the hope that I eventually get what I've paid for. Please advise.

I had the identical situation. The main difference is that I only sent in $98 to Eagles Choice and became very suspisious when I got an e-mail from Funtime Vacations requesting another $55 pp for a 1 year"package" and $74.50 pp for a 2 year one. I called Crystal Cosby who was supposed to be my booking agent at Funtime to inquire about these additional fees. She said that this a fee is for a VIP package but if I don't want "fast" service I don't have to pay it?! Instead, she emailed me another form asking for $39 "booking fee". She also said that it might take up to 4 month to book a cruise that would cost about $500 pp after you pay all these fees. Some "free" cruise! Besides, the dates are very restrictive and you probably would also have to pay for the upgrade since I doubt anyone would like a cabin below the waterline LOL. I would like to team up with other people who had been scammed out of their money and try to get these bunch of liars

An update: I just got my refund of the activation fee( $98). This is what you do to get it: Call 888-873-8854 and enter the ext. 101, 102, 107 or 109. You will be able to speak to Eagles Choice people( if you're lucky). The person to talk to is Charles Matthews @ ext. 102. It seems like he is the one who can authorize a refund. Make sure to send back all travel documents that you've recieved from them via Certified Mail ( this way they can't say they never got it). Include a copy of the canceled check (both sides) and a letter explaining why you want a refund.Call back to follow up.Be persistent ! If that fails file the complain with BBB which I didn't have to do since I got my money back. Good luck ! If anybody gets their refund please post a comment so I will know that it worked!

I was scammed too. I am reporting them to the better business !! I used Celebrity and FunTime. All my money has been sent that they requested and now I can't reach anyone. I called the original people I bought through and I am still getting the run around. This has been a nightmare! I got married and wanted to use the cruise as a honeymoon this september and couldn't! We should put something together
