No Age:55 - 64 Gender:Male Ownership:Longer than one year Usage:Every day Walmart 2 year Service Plan for a Television Walmarts Extended Service Company is a "RIPOFF", 11/28/2011 My 42" Sanyo LCD quit the day before the extended warranty ran out. I called the company and they said someone would call within two days to set up a service appointment, they didn't but eventually did. They said someone else would contact me to set an appointment to service the TV. About a month later a company called and said they did not service my area, sorry.I waited to hear from the Service company again with another service provider but I never got a call. Finally after waiting from Aug until Nov for repair I called the Warranty Service Company back and asked when they were going to repir my TV. They said that since the Service contract had now ran out they were "NOT" going to repair the TV. I asked for a Supervisor and she stated the same thing. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told someone would call by close of business the next day. We'll see if that happens. Today I am calling Walmart Coprorate Customer Service and complain. If they DO NOT honor the Service agreement contract I will sue them in small claims court to recoup my $1,000.00.
