Charles J. Read, Inc. Custome Payroll Associates, Payroll service did not pay our UI taxes Lewisville, Texas

Charles J Read Payroll Services or Custom Payroll Associates, was the payroll service for my business. They handled all of our payroll tax, collecting the taxes due from us each payroll and they were authorized to submit and make the tax payments on our behalf. We started receiving notices that our state unemployment tax payments were late and we started receiving charges - interest and penalties for late fees. I contacted CJR multiple times and they had said they would look into and take care of it. We started to receive these notices Fall of 2010, by the time the fees started adding up we had over $500 due that I had to finally pay in July 2011 since CJR had done nothing or communicated with me since Feb 2011. I had to pay taxes due plus penalties while CJR still has the original tax amount that we paid to them at the time the payroll was processed. Now that I have tried to go back and collect from them, Charles J Read is claiming we never did business with them!!! - Despite the fact that I obviously have proof they were are payroll processor and also have e-mail records backing up our correspondance.
