SoftSupreme
SoftSupreme They sold me a pirate version of a software. Internet
16th of May, 2011 by User612484
This company, known as SoftSupreme, or in the URL designated, SoftMembers is the reseller of pirated software sold at a fraction of retail price.
Here are some examples of why this company looks shifty. 1] The 'certificates', (also one for C|NET Certified Stores), are images only, not clickable, so there is no way to confirm their validity. 2] Their About Us. I reckon I've seen that image before. That office complex seems to pop up all over the place. 3] Their Terms & Conditions includes the following; 2.3 The software we sell is packed into archives, which contain FULL BACKUP COPIES of original licensed software which have .zip format (to open them You need WinZip software);
2.4 The software is in the English language only!
2.5 Software cannot be registered on-line due to certain limitations;
2.6 You will not be able to receive any printed license confirmation;
2.7 You will not receive any CD/DVD, we neither sell CD`s nor ship them
2.8 Some software includes ISO files (iso - CD image ) . You need to burn this type of files on CD/DVD and start a setup from a CD. You will get all directions for burning CDs/DVDs This means. Downloadable only and you need WinZip to extract them. Genuine software is never zipped. Only English. Genuine software has language options. Software cannot be registered online. Why? because it is pirated. Will not receive any license information. Yep, because it is pirated. CD/DVD versions not available. Why not? The genuine versions can be purchased in CD/DVD format. Some software is in ISO format. Genuine versions are never in ISO format. Also, customer service was unhelpful, and I was unable to get a refund. I requested assistance with finding the serial. The only email I got was the following: Follow-Up: 186198 Dear __________, This is an OEM version with built-in licence key. Please, just launch "fl9.activate.exe". Thank you for your interest in the Software Store. I hope this information has been helpful.
Software Store Customer Support Here are my working hours: everyday (except Saturday) from 7 PM to 3 AM (GMT)
Any feedback you provide would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully, ____________ This is the only way to contact the company.
There are no email addresses, phone numbers or any other contact information.
Also the fact that this is OEM is lies, because a crack comes along with the product. As a music producer, I am very disappointed with this, and hope that they get their just desserts in the end.

I paid for software from this site. I thought that I was getting an older version of Adobe Acrobat and that is why it was cheaper than buying the latest version. I have received nothing from them despite repeated emails to them. Initially I got a reply that I have not downloaded a complete version of the software. Duh!! Obviously; I can see that. That is because each link they give for a download gives you an incomplete software package. Their system is complicated and hard to understand. They provide you with download links from different cities in the USA. None of them work. Then they have “Activator Links” whatever that is. Then later they suggest you download another software program to assist in the download of the program you ordered. Then as a result of my complaints, they gave me another “fix” as an “alternate suggestion”: that is, go to the Adobe site and download the Trial Version of the program you wanted and then insert the Serial Number that they provide you with. Of course, when you do this, Adobe replies that the Serial Number is invalid. I asked for a refund. One guy (allegedly Scott” said he referred my complaint to the “Refund Department”. The next reply I got(allegedly from “Michael”), did not say I would get a refund, but offered me the same download sites as before that do not work. All these guys (if they are for real) encourage you to reply and they all work at odd hours–such as “3am to 11am GMT”. When you phone the help desk you get an answering machine. The voice on the machine has such a strong Chinese accent, that it is very difficult to understand what the female voice is saying. This seems unusual for a company from the USA. And the message also says that for “faster service” use their email system, which just results in a “Scott” or a “Michael” giving you another false lead to chase for another hour. I will try to get my credit card company to reverse this charge. This business must be a scam operation. Avoid it all costs.

I bought the adobe X and gave it away as a gift. They can not get it installed because of the serial number. I doubt if I will see my money back.
