There was an article in the local news which states that this Shell gas station refused service to a uniformed American serviceman. see article here Whether these allegations are true or not, I myself and the majority of my neighbors refuse to put money in the pockets of this station's owner for the following: Try living two doors down from Sam and Issa...the good Christian sons of Mike Nino. The police have been at their home multiple times since I moved here less than a year ago. Two months ago, 6 officers showed up in the neighborhood asking us (all of the immediate neighbors) if we had problems with their barking dog and loud music. Yes, we all had, but Im not a snitch and so I called Sam Nino after they left and told him what the issues were (that they are disrespectful punks) and told him that I suggested that they slow down while driving as everyone is fearful that they will eventually hit a child, keep the dog in at night, and keep their music down and garage door shut. You know, just the normal things that one does when they dont want the entire neighborhood in arms. A month ago, the neighbor in between me and the Ninos, Bryan, was distressed because he couldnt find his little tiny dog which he had for 12 years. He asked the Ninos who said no, they had not seen it. He had a nagging feeling that they knew more, because he had heard someone state loud enough that he could hear, 'Hell no, I aint cleaning up that mess." By the next day, what was left of the little dog was found in a lot behind the Ninos home. It turns out that the dog had entered their yard and was mauled by their Doberman. They had simply picked up the corpse and flicked it over their fence and washed away the blood. After Bryan put two and two together and , rightfully angered, confronted one of the Nino sons...Issa tried to deny it , then cussed Bryan out. The poor little dogs collar was returned to Bryan by one of the roommates a few days later. I had tried being friendly with them, or at least tolerant. The constant loud music didnt bother me too much as I live 2 doors down. A couple of weeks ago, my 4 year old daughter and I arrived home late and as we exited the car, the usual filthy profanity hit our ears. until now, she had not been affected. Now Mama Bear took over. I stood in my tracks and yelled at the offender "Watch your filthy mouth when my daughter is here'' A voice from within the garage made a smart comment to me and I let it go..they had been warned. Tonight, once again, my daughter was in the front yard with me, and here comes a barrage of the F word. I had her go in the house and went over and told them that it was disrespectful to use that language in a tone for the whole neighborhood to hear. Issa stated "This is America I have freedom of speech I will do as I please" me, "Well, you can close the garage door" Issa, "No...I like it open". Well, the Beaumont Police did not feel like he coulld do as he pleased...his garage door is now closed for the first Friday night in almost a year. They told me that they were warned that if they had to come out again that they would be cited. I will call every time that it happens. I will also picket their gas station...not necessarily because I believe the story that their gas station turned down a uniformed enlisted man....but just because they are very rude, narcissistic and disrespectful people. |
