SCAMS & Lies |

Rusty Eck and every sells representative and manager I have ever encountered there have proven time and time again to scam, lie and weasel customers relentlessly including the most recent scam of a $200 gift card which is anything but a gift card.
EVERY time I bring my two Fords in for service, I get unsolicited calls by sells people attempting to get me back in under false pretenses. Most recently, I was told to come in, test drive a vehicle and would receive a $200 gift card I could use ANYWHERE for ANYTHING. No brainer, 200 bucks is 200 bucks and I clarified that with the rep on the phone and the sells rep I spoke with during the test drive, Nick Valentine. The card was ONLY for " TOTALLYFREESHOPPINGSPREE.COM" and only offered a completely worthless assortment of 20 online items from stretchy bracelets, un-named cheap watches (2 available) 4 cd's of off brand sounds of the forest songs and 4 or so childrens books Ive never heard of. They are gimmick hounds, and street swindlers.(My substantiated opinion) I have purchased many vehicles in my past, 6 of which have been through there. (recent 06 Freestyle and 06 Ford Explore purchased used a couple of years ago) IF I ever go back, I go in a different person and will NOT be a pleasure to deal with. I DO NOT recommend shopping there.
BEWARE buyer, they are not your friend, they are not there to help you, serve you and do not have your best interests in mind. They are there to sell you any car they can for as much as they possibly can and will do anything to swindle you into it. As for the above explanation, they do NOT do business ethically. Who ever wrote that deserves a fat lip. People will not stand for this type of behavior very long. It will come back to you. We, the customers, are becoming very familiar with your antics and the bad publicity that has been spreading about Rusty Eck for years. Ive not been a fan and cus Rusty Eck name more and more every time Im there and get reminded of your pathetic antics every single time I step foot on your property. Not some of the time, or part of the time but every time I get near your sells area. You guys really do suck. We the customer know it, and we are telling others. Things that rate above doing business with you!?
10) 3 hour waits at the DMV
9) walking through a field of stickers bare foot
8) falling asleep for 9 hours in blazing sun to wake up screaming.
7) walking across Wichita on hands and knees, in the snow, wearing only underwear.
6) An evening with Rosanne Barr, singing, and in a bathing suit.
5) Shopping at any other dealership.
4) listening to the annoying Rusty Eck commercials for 12 hours straight.
3) Being coated in honey and dropped in a Texas fire ant hill.
2) Voting for Obama in a second term.
1) dental surgery without anesthetics. |

Believe it or not we have been caring and serving the customer for the last 59 years. It sounds like this person was not happy with the gift card. We monitor customer opinions on promotional items and value their opinion. We will look into this company’s gift card and reevaluate its value. It was free and I’m sorry it did not meet his expectations. We do call some customers that come in for service if it looks like they might be ready to trade. Every customer has the option to opt out of phone calls or emails. Please tell us you would like to be taken off the list and we will. The other opinions well we do try to sell cars and make money, just like everyone want’s to make the most money for their family, so do we. I’d rather have some one call and express what I could do to solve the problem rather than just vent with a bad day. I answer my phone and welcome any constructive comments. Les |

I have bought two cars from rusty eck ford and have had two totally different experiences. the first car I bought was a 2009 ford focus and I got a great great deal. I walked away really happy with the experience. the second car i got was a 2010 ford fusion, i traded the focus in for it. My second trip didn't go nearly as well. when i traded in my focus, i at first went to the sales person that sold me my focus, thinking I would get a great deal again. we talked for about four hours but couldn't come to a deal on my trade in and a price. I came back a few days later after hoping that after some time i could try to work a better deal. I ended up talking to another sales person until my privies salesman saw me working with another salesman and freaked out. I didn't know I was locked in to only having to work with one salesman. I'm not sure how but I ended up having to work with the first salesman again because I already started a deal with him. he was pissed because now he had to split the commission for the car with the other salesman. he flat out told me that he just wouldn't get a me as good a deal as he did last time because now he has to split his commission. I tried to leave after he told me that and even demanded him to give me my keys back to my car. he left and I guess it was his boss that came back with him and offered me a extra $200 off the car. i was so ready to just get the deal done I said whatever and pressed on with the deal. With rusty eck ford its either a hit or miss. they can give you a great deal sometimes but other times it's just a high pressure sales pitch from the second you his the parking lot that you just want to end. they just stress you out just enough to say screw it and you will sign anything to get out the door. Save yourself alot of time and headack and just go to Davis Moore down the road. they are more straight forward no BS. They also wont make you hit a gay ass gong every time they sell a car either. |
