Dobbâ€™s in Brentwood will quote you one price and then try and charge you another. I called them about warranting a battery that they installed 4 years ago. The person on the phone looked up our information, told me the battery had a 5 year prorated warranty. He then told me the price to replace would be $29 and some change. I asked for their location and took the car up there. After I dropped the car off and walked over to the next shopping center to each lunch, they called me to say the price would be $69. I told them this was incorrect, as they had quoted me $29 on the phone. I walked back down there to talk face to face with the guy. He was rude and told me he wonâ€™t honor the price they had told me over the phone. That they couldnâ€™t figure out who I had talked to on the phone. I explained to them that if that was the price they had quoted me on the phone, I wouldnâ€™t have wasted my time coming up there as I could buy a battery new, under my account at Orielly Auto Parts for less. The long and short of it is that Dobbâ€™s will not stand behind their products, their quotes, and are rude and unorganized. I would not recommend taking your car there. There is an old saying in the business world, treat a customer correctly and they might tell one person, but wrong them, and they will tell everyone. Well, I will be informing everyone via Craigslist, posted fliers, the Better Business Bureau and every review I can find on the internet.
