i was stuck between a rock and a hard place in October of 2009. I was in need f a new car, and rightway offered to help. I ended up with a 2000 Bravada. i took it for a test drive, did all the paper work, found out i was approved, and drove away with the vehicle. the price of the vehicle was never given to me, even though i asked numerous times, but, like i said i was was in deperate need of a car. I was promised it was safe, as i am a single mom of a now 6 year old child who has special needs. I explained all of this to the sales woman Rhonda, but was reassured i would have no problems. they work with a mechanic shop called Louies where i was told they inspect all they cars, and Rhonda herself takes her car there for service. i had a 6 month extened warranty on the truck. when i began having problem, i tried nemerous times to contact her, but she was never available. In july of 2010, i had to have the crossbar replaced. i was told by the mechanic (not Louies) that he has NEVER had to replace one. at that time i was told the transfer case was shot, and i neI didnt even know what kind of car that was, and Rhonda stated she couldnt beleive i didnt know what that wa. eded new ball joints on the front of the truck, upper and lower. i was told the truck could seize up while driving by several mechanics. basically it was not safe to drive. When i was finally able to get ahold of someone at rightway, i was sent to louies to have it looked at. by now the "warranty" had expired. The regional manager wouldnt even drive my truck. i told him if i have been driving it, why was he afraid? little by little we had minor things done. i was even willing to trade this in to them for something else newer and safer, but was told it was to soon. Rohonda eventually became the manager of this location in Clinton Township. I was at work in July of 2011, and had to have the truck towed home because it wouldnt start. we called rightway, they had it towed to Louies, i found out it was the fuel pump, rightway agreed to pay for that. when i got the truck back, the truc started to over heat. I had NEVER EVER had an issue with that previous to it going to their mechanic. after numerous phone calls to Rhonda, she now doesnt return or answer phone calls. her last words to my boyfriend was that they have 17 dealerships ans would be able to find me something. although i prefer an SUV, because i feel safer driving with my child, she calld me one day at 5:15, said she had a KIA Optima for me. and expected me to come there right that moment to sign the paperwork for it. I explained i didnt know what kind of car that was, and she couldnt beleive it. Rhonda promised she would find me something, and has sent out e mails to all the dealerships. I told her the next phone call i was making was to the news stations and to an attorney. she called me back and proceeded to say i was threatening her. why? because then the truth would come out how they take advantagge of hard working people? i have to pay $186.02 every two weeks, plus pay insurance for that truck. for the amount i pay, i could drive a cadallic. Now, she doesnt return calls, or answer the pphone. This company takes advantage of people who ae down on their luck,and need to ge to work. I need at least $3000 worth of work to make the car road worthy. as far as i am concerned they scam you. I hope someone reads this and wants to sue them. I think the mechanic did things to the car, i think they are all on the same team, and i feel they dont care who they take advantage of. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!!!! I hope an attorney sees this, i have no problem going to court. may this complaint be a big time buyer beware!!!!!!
