Raymond Christopher Inc. Raymond Christopher Inc. 3 Bouncing checks and shady business practices. Internet, Michigan |

I found a Job on the Internet at Cinnabon which I thought this should be relatively rebuttal. I was completely wrong. I was alittle suspicious when their was no benefits, and they had done complete change over of employees multiple times in one year. In the first week I had learned of a past bankruptcy and that because of that many banks wouldn't even take our paychecks! When I got my first paycheck I noticed it said "Raymond Christopher 3 Inc." at the top. I'm not sure if they had 3 bankruptcies but that was my first thought. Another suspicious thing was the lack of a street in the address just "PO BOX 5480 Northville,MI" I'm pretty sure that's illegal because you can't send certified mail to just a PO box, which is necessary in my state of Maryland to send proof of a dis-honored or bounced paycheck. My paycheck bounced without me even being aware because the bank accepted it because I had enough Money to cover it. They quoted me as having the money for over four days. Then one day my card wasn't accepted trying to buy food. A terrible feeling which my company is not sympathetic to at all. The other problem was they laid off the person who hired and trained me because they didn't have enough money to pay her. This complicated the issue because I had to get in touch with higher ups which proved difficult in the past. The pathetic thing was they said they couldn't even contact the payroll department on a normal work day during normal business hours. The next day I tried to call the number on their website with no luck and no answering machine. They eventually got back to me later that day saying I could be paid out in cash and for the damages to my account. This was alittle shady. Nothing was said to the worry, extra gas, or even explained as too what the problem was. The bottom line is that giving out bad checks is illegal and shows not good business practices. The fact that it wasn't just me but at least two others had their paychecks bounce during the same pay period. This Job has been the worst experience I have ever had from general managers quitting on the spot to stores not opening until I came to save the day. I never even got a thank you for anything. Their is many untold things I have done to keep their businesses running and they don't even know or care to ackowledge me for it. I have been lied to multiple times and the shady business practices are never explained to anyone. Everyone who works their realizes in the first week or so that the job is a Ripoff! |
