I said these guys are "Miscallainious Health Specialists"? I have no idea what they sold. This is a SCAM phishing for your consent; that you will receive a rebate from 1-800-Flowers if you accept a trial period. The print is very fine; I usually read ALL fine print and am very tech savy; regardless of whether it was in the fine print or not, it was intentionally MEANT TO BE DECEITFUL. After their "trial period" for their "service", they'll take your CC# used for the flowers purchase and stick you with 40$ charges; this is done 4 times a year, and as they see it, even if one person is too busy to notice the charge, they'll make plenty of money. I called this "Live Well" when I saw the charge; I got the number from an existing complaint from ripoff report; I then demanded a cancellation of whatever they beleive I consented to, that I have never recieved any product or communication from them whatsoever and that I demanded that all charges be refunded immediately. Not only was the service rep rude (the kind where they act polite but its obviously tounge-in-cheek) but he couldnt even tell me what the hell I purchased. It went like this: Me: "So what did I buy with the 100 something bucks you charged me? Do I at least get a magazine from you?" Livewell: "Uh... Well... No - its not something tangible that you can feel. Its more of a membership." Me: "Yeah? What does this membership get me." Livewell: "Things like %15 off dining in select restaurants........... (long pause while I chuckle.).... and other services......" At that point I had enough; told him shutup, cancel my membership immediately, and refund all charges; in case my bank cant reach them after I submit the fraud report. I was always arrogant when I heard people say anyone can be a victim of fraud... I have been humbled. BBB Complaint filed. Make sure you call your bank and inform them of the situation in case LW continues to charge to your account. Oh and 1-800-Flowers? I ordered those flowers, for my mother, on mothers day, after her accident, WHILE I WAS DEPLOYED IN IRAQ. Shame on you for consenting to this. You should loose your business licsence. You've lost this customer for good. |
