Looking for a template for phpmydirectory? Beware!! Read this first!! I should have searched for PMDstyles.com complaints before I paid these crooks $50, because there are similar valid complaints about them online. They ripped off over $300 for "custom" work from one poor guy, as he wrote on his blog. Read it . On Friday, 3/25/11, I paid $50 for the "edge" template from this company. I liked the ajax based sliding drop down tab shown on the PMDstyles demo site. After the owner Robert assured me that the "edge" template 1.3.3 was fully compatible with PMD 1.3.4. I paid for it.
The download page did NOT have an option to download the edge 1.3.4 version. On Sunday 3/27/11, I correctly installed the edge template. It did NOT have the ajax based sliding tab. When I told the the owner of this defect, Robert claimed that somewhere in his "news" section, he has said it may not work, although his own "edge demo" page said this feature would work. Clearly this template is NOT compatible with the PMD 1.3.4. It has other serious problems: 1. Cannot login using internet explorer. 2. Header is messed up. 3. Missing graphics on index page. Etc etc. PMDstyles LIED to me. Robert totally ingnored these valid complaints. When I asked Robert for a refund, and promised to NOT use his defective template, - he rudely REFUSED A REFUND! Obviously - they first deceive you, then steal your money, then make you fight to get it back. Well now they can fight to try and get a good reputation, as this is being posted at over 8 complaints sites. Others need to know so they cannot RIPOFF other victims. So now I am disputing this charge on paypal, and posting this complaint all over the web at every complaint site like ripoffreport[dot]com, etc etc. The good news is that I was able to find out that they are cheats and liars BEFORE I spent hundreds of dollars more for customizing services from them, as I had intended to do. So It has only cost me $50 [until I get the paypal credit] for me to find out what crooks they are, not $500 +! >>>WARNING <<< Do NOT buy from this PMDstyles.com company - they are liars and crooks, and they also LIE about their "whois" [website owner requirement] info: "Styles LLC" located in 8, Rue Marceau, Villeneuve Sur, Yonne 92785, France 9323209437 Fax -- 9323209437. This info they posted on "whois" is also patently false - Area code "932" is in Texas. Zip code 92785 is in Mexico. And they claim they are in France. PMDstyles hires incompetent people from India to do their custom work for them. RUN from these con artists and thieves!! I found your posting here. I bought also from there the edge theme and I am very satisfied. It works exactly like in the demo.
And no AJAX slider tab I didn't found on the demo site of PMDStyles. What kind of AJAX slider tgis should be???

Normally I wanted to buy another theme from PMDStyles, but the owner of PMDStyles wrote me, that I cannot buy this, I can buy only EDGE and ProNet. If he would be a cheater and wanted to rip me off, he would had sold me the theme of my choice, even if it doesn't work. But he told me, that the theme of my choice isn't compatible with actually PMD-version and so he told me that I can buy only EDGE and ProNet.
Certainly you installed it wrong or your server doesn't fill all requirements for the PMD (ioncube???).
I can log in from Internet Explorer.
And pictures work also well in my installation.
