I purchased a replacement motherboard for a machine on my network with hopes of getting it relatively soon in order to bring it back on line. I have not received any tracking number, just 4 confusing e-mails that are 4 pages of mumbo jumbo on each. If you want to contact them you must log into their site and check off all the boxes that you will behave yourself or they will put a lean on your house and take away your first born. I say this to be fasicious, but I have never had to navagate through as much bullshit to give someone my money.
With that said lets get to the long wait thing. Sure you got 30 inches of snow but it wasn't all at once. So what, get off your a** and get to the post office. I have still received other packages from other companies. I purchased my board on December 30th, yep just before New Years. The post office is still open on that day, and the day after the first. It is now the 14th, that is 2 weeks and no packages at my door. An e-mail chimed into my inbox today at 3:00 p.m. stateing: IMPORTANT : Please allow at least 10 business days to pass for your package to arrive from the shipment date. The courier requires all shipments 10 business days to be delivered via standard delivery to trace a package. Once the package has been given to the courier, the seller is not responsible for the transit times or if the package is lost or damaged upon reciept. The seller has absolutely no control over the couriers actions regarding delivery times, care of package, or other unforseen events. Please do not blame the seller, since we are not in physical possesion of the item. I mean what the hell is that. Nothing like offsetting the responsability on someone else becuase I am sure your inability to get to the post office, they do pick up from residences and businesses, to ship it out. How about this little ditty in the e-mail: ALL BUYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BEING PRESENT AT TIME OF DELIVERY. PURCHASES VALUED GREATER THAN $50 WILL REQUIRE SIGNATURE. Or what, it does not specify. You are worse then Comcast guestamating when something will be delivered because as I said once before and will say again you don't have any way of tracking the package. All forms of delivery have something. USPS, UPS, FEDEX etc. At least Comcast will give you a day with a window from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. I can only hope my package will get here soon, it is supposed to be New Dell OEM Mobo but they only give 7 days on returns. If I have to return it I may as well shoot myself. I hope I get a survey and I will express my concerns on how they do business, I mean it is scary that they have all these disclaimers on their site for them to sell you something. It should have thrown red flags, but I needed the part and I was in a pinch. For those people who are looking to purchase something from this company be prepared to wait, and at the end of the day it will be your fault if anything is wrong. |
