WorldPay Us, Inc., (Atlanta Georgia Credit Card Processing Company also known as RBS WorldPay formerly involved in FBI Credit Card Scam Investigation, according to Federal Bureau of Investigations)
WorldPay Was Sued July 2011, In A Pennsylvania Court After WorldPay Was Caught On Tape Conciously Avoiding Paying Merchant For Sales While Continuing to Process Unathorized Charges to the Merchant's Customers up to 3-4 Times for a Single Sale, but not paying the merchant even for one sale.
The Lawsuit alleges that WorldPay conciously avoided paying the Merchant for nearly 15 or more days, avoided cancelling the merchant service agreement when the merchant attempted to cancel in less than 15 business days of poor service, and caused damages and loss of business for an undisclosed amount by not correcting what they claimed to be "zipcode errors".
WorldPay is now accused of racking up what is alleged to be unlawful charges against the merchant after WorldPay was notified of the lawsuit. Sent fraudulent information regarding merchant to a collection agency when the service agreement was not even in effect for 60 days. WorldPay is accused of attempting to collect multiple different charges ranging from $35-$155 for processing services listed in the service agreement as $9.99 per month.
The lawsuit indicated that WorldPay Breached their Contract. According to the merchant, they conciously withheld contract details and cost of service from merchant, providing merchant with partial contract information, avoiding and/or failing to pay merchant within the next business day as agreed.
It also alleges breach of fiduciary duties by performing unlawful credit card processing and/or knowingly processing customers credit cards multiple times for a single transaction without authorization. The court hearing is scheduled for August 2011.
