Lexicon Senior Healthcare Employment Scam Dallas, Texas |
25th of Jan, 2011 by |
Beware. Lexicon sells insurance and are recruiting agents. The catch is that they expect you to fly to Dallas, stay in a hotel for 3 or 4 nights, meals etc. for training classesat your expense!! And then lay out $999 for "set-up fees". This is for a 1099 commission job!! Do not even waste your time applying.

Its funny how all the reviews say run...exept the last ones...um company spies LOL. Of course they would have ppl who would troll sites looking for negetive coments about the company so they could say those ppl are crazy and lazy. Sounds like they make alot of money from alot of ppl that dont do homwork on a company that called them even though the person never applied to LexiCON senior healthcare.. just my opinion |

I found this press release on Lexicon just now. They are in fact distribution partners with Great American and AFG! They are totally legit. See for yourself... found it on Yahoo Finance. NO WAY this company is a scam. I'm going for a position now, sick of putting it off.

I found the below press release on Lexicon today. They ARE actually major distribution partners with Great American and AFG. And ground floor! That's it, I'm convinced b/t this and their A+ rating with the BBB that there is NO WAY these guys are a scam. Check it out for yourself... I found it on Yahoo Finance. I'm going to see if I can get an interview for a position with them, sick of waiting in doubt. Sorry for some of the posts I made last month when I thought they were not for real. My bad.

Well they sure were not forthright with me. I was told nothing about the outrageous $20 per appt fees until I was already in TX and had forked over $1, 000+ for training and travel. They also misled me about the travel...they said I would be within a 60 mile radius of my home. Day 1 I put on a total of about 340 miles. Lexicon uses deceit, lies, and scare tactics to run a business. If you have a soul and think taking advantage of seniors is a bad idea this may not be a good fit for you. If they were forthright they would tell you upfront that 9 out of 10 people will fail in this business within the first 3 months. But that is their way of making money - sell it as a business "opportunity" and then point their noses in the air and tell people they couldn't hack it...AFTER they have pocketed your "training" money. Which by the way just buys you a box full of insurance applications and an ID badge that looks homemade. ANY COMPANY THAT HAS THE WORD "SCAM" COME UP WITH IT IN A GOOGLE SEARCH YOU SHOULD STEER CLEAR OF!! Please save yourself the time, money, effort, embarrassment, and DO NOT believe any of their bullshit! |

For those of you who found this website about Lexicon Senior Health Care, I congratulate you. Beware of Apex-Elite also based in Dallas. I received an email from both of these scams through Career Builder.com These emails were Identical in most every way, it made me suspicious. I am so glad I found this website. Just remember what my Dad always told me. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is not true. Never pay for a job. There are laws against this. When I checked BBB website both were only on there since this year. Just remember the BBB charges companies for accrediation. They only handle customer complaints. Not employee complaints. So you would not find anything on the BBB website to a company with no customers. They do not sell the insurance they claim too. They just recruit you to sell for another company. What a terrible scam. Beware Beware Beware.
Thanks to all of you who posted here.
Apex-Elite is the next Name for this same Scam. |

All the people that "complained" had legitimate points. The 3, RussPro, JHK, and OTRUTHo, you guys are the ones these people are complaining about. You represent this company and probably is getting a cut from all the fees collected. This company entice job seekers about their "triple verified" committed preset appts to learn that it's a $20/appt + $5/callback...come on man...I would rather buy my own leads for a fraction of the price and set it up myself. You 3 are ridiculous to try to throw in a positive spin just because so many people fell victim to this company's business plan... |
|
|
Thank you for sharing your experiences and comments. For me there is no need to call back for my initial interview. |
|
|
JHK and OTRUTHo I have seen your threads virtually word for word in other insurance forums, you are management for the organization.
This company is a scam that rips off its salesman. |

There are plenty of reputable long-term care and medicare supplement providers out there that are willing to pay for your training and don't take your $ like Lexicon. Sure, you have to actually find your own business & set appointments...just like any other outside sales job. My advice: talk to seniors that you know well & ask them about who they use and their experience with the sales rep and company. |

You're obviously employed by Lexicon's marketing department. Anyone with half a brain and minimal business sense understands that this is about the worst business venture imaginable. Demand to see the "simple contractual agreement" and "nominal fees" that they will hold you to before investing your hard-earned $$$! No legitimate businesses operate this way!
Any positive/favorable comments you read on the web are the result of a very clever marketing department. In my personal & professional opinion, the opportunity for success is zero. As a very experienced & successful salesman, I absolutely hate to see people take advantage of. |

Here's the deal. Get a copy of Lexicon's contractual agreement and policies you will be expected to adhere to as a sales rep. Provide a copy to any rational, successful and experienced sales person you trust and respect. I promise you they will find Lexicon's program an extremely bad deal.
Read the positive comments on Lexicon. Then ask yourself...are all of these created by their corporate marketing staff?
I hate to see aspiring sales reps get into a bad situation and lose their hard-earned $$$! |

True, True! I can't believe what I have read, the truth. The truth is painful and it hurts and in my gut feeling: I knew this was too good to be true. LHS, wow. Here I thought, I had found the ultimate job and what a joke. I just don't have time to put aside for a scam, for something false. My family depends on my time and my earnings and I won't take that away from them to be lead to the slaughter house by some losers hiding under a nice haircut, shirt and tie. I'm trying to make it. The only ones I'm gonna let make it off my back is my wife and kids, not losers at LSH or any other company. Lets be careful and not give in to scams set-up by losers trying to make a living on your expense of time and hard earned money!!! |

I have a phone interview today.. 12-12-2011.. after reading this I am not sure.. I have never had to pay to go to corp headquarters.. all ligit companies I have worked for paid for that.. hotel and 1 or 2 meals for the day. .. I am wondering how the appointments will be... that is my main concern. I would think that you would reach people with incomes over 50k and could afford the insurance.. not people that just live off social security.. I will listen and see what they say but I am very weary. |
