Lexicon Senior Healthcare Employment Scam Dallas, Texas |
25th of Jan, 2011 by |
Beware. Lexicon sells insurance and are recruiting agents. The catch is that they expect you to fly to Dallas, stay in a hotel for 3 or 4 nights, meals etc. for training classesat your expense!! And then lay out $999 for "set-up fees". This is for a 1099 commission job!! Do not even waste your time applying.

It is so great to hear something positive about Lexicon. I was starting to think I was going crazy. I guess like JHK said, "Misery loves company." Well it is about time that comes to an end. That company is a bunch of hard working individuals that deserve to be recognized, not scrutinized.
That's all I am going to say. I hope all you doubters out start making the best out of your situation. Because this opportunity is non existent these day. Take advantage while you can. Good luck to all!!! |

Thanks to all who have posted of late - I also work for Lexicon. My only suggestion is that you go to your 1st interview and let me know if all your questions were answered or better yet, if you end up qualifying for a 2nd interview with your state's area manager let me know how that went! I am still relatively new, a little over a month, and there are some things they will tell you that it seems most don’t want to hear on this site. Travel is really based on where you live and how many are working from your area, or how many territories are available near you. From what I understand I got lucky and got one of the last commutable territories in my area easily commutable to my home. They told me that up front as well and I didn’t hesitate to take them up on that territory.
Income... I'm averaging a little over $1000 a week. I know that is not great but I am still learning and I am finally doing as they have tried to teach me over and over again and starting selling ancillary products with my sales, it is sooo much easier than I thought, I guess I had a mental block on that one. It has started to increase my income and it feels what I am closing I am closely in a way that it feels very solidified and like I have a better relationship with the people I am selling. Again, I have only been with the company for a little over a month and I am sure that I will make a lot more soon. Learning takes longer when you don’t listen and apply what they tell you, I learned that the hard way.
For all who are wondering, LSH has the best training program I have ever been through and support like I've never had in all my years in sales. I can’t tell you how much better this is than my last sales job.
I see some things talking about expenses... each week they pay me b/t $150.00 to $500.00 based on how much I sell to cover the cost of my expenses. Again, much better than my last position.
Thanks again to all the recent posts – good luck to all. |

The moderator on the webinar is actually Chris Westfall - a hired speaker I found on speakermatch.com. Clearly they've hired someone to sell interested parties on the dream of easy sales and big money. I've been in sales long enough to smell scam. The recruiter ignored my questions, but I realized why as soon as Chris (NOT Ryan) started his presentation. Beware. I'm sure this type of sale works out for the very few unscrupulous salespeople out there that have no qualms about screwing old people, but for the rest of us honest salespeople, RUN AWAY. I can understand putting out money for a license, but I've interviewed with other insurance companies - none of which charge $$$ you like these guys do. I just wanted a change of industry, but this company is clearly out of the question. If you don't believe me just google Chris Westfall or search him out on speakermatch.com where he is advertising his speaking services. |

Here is "Ryan" from the webinar - his real name is Chris Westfall. If you don't think you are being sold - think again. Check out the links above where he advertises his services. Any company that sets up informational meetings and interviews where you can't ask any questions is very suspicious. If it was the real deal they would have a LIVE video confrence with a top sales manager to talk about the position and then give you a chance to ask questions. I asked the recruiter a few questions which she ignored & now I know why. I can see paying to get a license, but not a bunch of $$$$ up front to a company to employ you. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! There are plenty of companies that take people without sales experience & train them properly - all without having to pay ANY money upfront. I'd bet some of the posts above were written to try to keep the scam going. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!! Do your homework first. |

JHK and OTRUTHo are part of the Lexicon scam. No doubt th same dude wrote both posts. Also, relying on RipoffReport is itself a ripoff. IF the company is willing to pay for an independent review by RipoffReport they will certainly get a clean bill of health. It's no more independent than asking your mother to tell a woman how great a guy you are. |
|
|
JHK and OTRUTHo are the same person who runs Lexicon.
RipoffReport will write a great review of a company if they pay for it. It's like asking youe4 mother to tell a woman how great you are. Unreliable. |

I have to agree with OTRUTHo. While the opportunity is not a fit for everyone, they make the effort for those who wish to make an effort themselves. Simply looking for excuses for why you weren't able to succeed at something really doesn't benefit yourself...or anyone else for that matter. Put forth your best effort at anything in life as opposed to complaining about why you can't. Good luck. |
|
|
I have to agree with you, OTRUTHo. This type of opportunity os obviously not for everyone but they tell you that up front. If you're not willing to dedicate yourself to the process and really make a valid attempt at understanding the reasons behind the distinct aspects of the system you are working within, then you are simply wasting your own time. Feeling sorry for yourself will never get you anywhere. Take action to improve your own life and stop worrying about all the reasons you can't do something. Figure out a way that you CAN! |
|
|
I have to agree with you OTRUTHo. Literally, it is all spelled out for you BEFORE you begin. Remember, this is a type of position that rewards you for success and true efforts, it is not simply a flat rate of pay whether you do well or don't. This is YOUR business that you're starting here people!
You have to go into anything with your eyes wide open and this is no different. It is not "easy" but the platform and strategies for success are laid out for you. You have to be willing to do what others aren't willing to do in order to get ahead (just like most things in life!). Don't get bogged down in overanalyzing every aspect of a sales job with Lexicon. When you really get to the bottom of it there is not a big difference from other places, other than they really do give you a plan for success. That success will be very fleeting if you don't follow the plan or if you aren't rtuly committed to succeeding.
Good Luck! |

LEXICON SENIOR HEALTHCARE IS THE REAL DEAL!!!
All these negative gross libelous posts about Lexicon make me nothing less than laugh at the, well... nothing less than made up s''t. Frankly, I am amazed at some of the imagination! I am impressed. lol
Look, I have worked for Lexicon Senior Healthcare for months, almost since they started, and LEXICON SENIOR HEALTHCARE is the best thing that has ever happened to me not to mention countless I know on staff here across the nation. I have been in sales for over 15 years. I have the blessing with Lexicon to literally wake up in the morning, type in a passcode on my laptop and have my entire day already made for me with PRESET APPOINTMENTS! Now, they are not Pre-Sold appointments, but they are for real and I did not have to do anything to get them. Ever had to bang the phone for half the week to get in front of someone?? Ever had to cold-call??? I do not with LSH!!!
I work 4 days a week and enjoy a 3-day weekend. I am making more money than I ever imagined possible (course the husband loves to spend it! lol), and I adore the management staff and my co-consultants.
Last month I made $17, 291.12 (including expense pay). I have preset appointments, continual training, all products I want, maximum support, a growing market (babyboomers), and the very best of best products.
BTW, just yesterday I made over $4000 in commission on just 1 Lexicon preset appointment. My renewals in just 5 months on staff are paying my mortgage. I love Lexicon!!! A dream reality for the right person.
We are growing fast and some day you might wish you got in at the ground floor like me (if you get a position).

I wonder how many vp's are writing the obvious untruths about having a blast selling at SHC, is that you Rich or David, it seems that the old company SHC is suffering and now its LEXICON that doing this sales con to the seniors and salesman.
Here is some more complants
http://www.scaminformer.com/scam-report/lexicon-senior-healthcare-it-is-an-mlm-scam-of-some-sort-they-just-need-more-new-c42291.html
And by the way rippoffreport.com will not post anything bad about them as SHC pay them to keep it off the website, I have that in writing from that website! |
