I bought a platform bed. It was damaged in shipment. Very poor quility of furniture. I told them I don't want a replacement I want a refund. The told me they need a code off the box. There is at least 10 codes not marked. It took 3 weeks before I gave them the right code off the box. There policy saids if it is damaged that I will not have to pay a restocking fee. I gave the pictures of damage. They say I owe 119 for a restocking fee. I owe 167.00 for shipping and 167.00 to ship it back. A refund of 22.43. I paid 475.99. I hadvnothing but problems with this company. |

We look at it as an opportunity to go above and beyond. Our posted policies are based on the industry standards are designed to be fair to both the consumer and businesses.
In reviewing your case with Humble Abode, not all packages were damages. We offered to send a replacement right away and also waived round trip shipping and restocking fees on all damaged boxes. All shippers demand round trip payment for the undamaged packages and manufacturers often have restocking fees. It also appeared that you had already purchased a higher quality bed locally at almost twice the price prior to contacting Humble Abode which insinuates ‘Buyer’s Remorse’, simply saying changing your mind. In this scenario, customers are responsible for all round trip shipping charges and any applicable restocking as posted on every product page on our website. Humble Abode always loses money on all returns. It is never a good situation for any party. At Humble Abode, we pride ourselves in complete visibility and going above and beyond for our valued customers.
