Green Dot myturbotaxcard.com system glitch overdraft Monrovia, California

I had my income tax money put into myturbotaxcard.com prepaid visa. I then requested that $2600 was transferred to my paypal account. A system error caused my card to request a hold on my account for and additional $2600 which left my card negative and completely broke. The Support people said it would be 6 top 10 days before it could be fixed. This is by far the worst service I have ever had and I will never use Green Dot again! Beware this company has a crappy system and incompetent service staff.

We truly apologize for your experience. The TurboTax Card is a reloadable prepaid Visa card that can be used anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. The card allows you to pay bills and shop online. It can be used at ATMs and for in person transactions. Wow so Im not the only one...But mine has now gone on to be 17 days and the hold still on my account. I have ee told so many different things I have spent 46.00 faxing papers to them and being told they have everything only to be told by next person they need something else..I amsick from all this I told them go back listen to calls i make everyday it says the record them PLEASE beware they are full of lies and hold money the staff is terrible. I totally agree with these two post saying what a terrible company this is and how terrible the service is. almost a month ago I lost my wallet. I called and canceled my card and requested a new one. I was informed through a computer system that the card should be received in 7-10 business days. I could not get a real person on the phone, only the automated system. After the 2 week waiting period and still not receiving the card, I finally got a live person, who apologized and ordered another card, again telling me I should recieve it in 7-10 days. I called back later to see if I could get access to money to pay bills online, and I was informed that I could have the card fed ex to me, allowing me to have it in 3 business days. But since I had already ordered a card that day, I'd have to call the next day to order another card. So the next morning I called and talked to a supervisor, who insured I would recieve the card through fed ex at the latest in 3 days. It has now been 3 days. I called this morning to see exactly where the card is, and was informed that it was again sent though regular mail and not fed ex. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told none were available, but that it could again be sent through fed ex. Really, you guys couldn't even do it the first time. So now, here I am with no money, playing the waiting game. you guys should really learn to train your staff to do their job!
