We settled for pennies on the dollar with the unsavory insurance carrier, Scottsdale, which is well known for insuring high-risk, un-creditworthy contractors. We had to haggle for what was over a year with this company, as their own client, Morgan Clark Contractors, had filed "Bankruptcy" and had zero assets to cover the cost to the many unthinkable damages to our property. How anyone who caused innocent people such grief and horrifying property damage could live with themselves is a clear indication for how corrupt and evil they are as people. Nothing crooked bothers them, as long as they are not the Victim. This story should be on television. Mike Holmes of "Holmes on Homes" has covered these exact terrifying scenarios where the homeowner gets duped by a con man who calls themselves a "Builder" and then the con man has taken huge amounts of money before he is caught. Carl Hart should be in jail for what he did to our home, and for the enormous amount of money he stole. Never acceptable. There should be a NO TOLERANCE policy in every state for this scam scam. People are seriously hurt, and homes are damaged, and time is wasted, and the courts are too busy to uncover every horrifying detail of water infiltration, theft, unskilled carpentry, illegal practices, and dangerous conditions, etc. This is a big issue in the United States. Everyone needs to stand up.
