Continental Van Lines Inc SCAM THIS IS NOT A MOVING COMPANY - FAKE ADDRESS - FAKE INFO IN THEIR WEBSITE - SCAM Coral Springs, Florida |
31st of Jan, 2011 by |
Continental Van Lines quoted me one price over the phone and charged me way more once they got there. They are dishonest. Their website says they have fifty years of experience in the household moving industry. This is not true and you can check all the information at the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations (sunbiz.org). This company was created in 2010 and the address they show in their website is fake, they are using a PakMail mail box as a physical address.
I cannot recommend this moving company. I had a bad experience with them when I moved a couple of weeks ago from Fort Lauderdale to Chicago, they damaged my furniture and their customer service is the worst.

Why is there no user identification for this report? I found one worded almost identically at a different consumer blog site and the owner had been tracked to a former moving company owner who had been indicted for consumer fraud... |

Wait isnt "OldDoc" the owner of Nationwide Moving company? And the actual post on here is from Continental? So they posted a bad comment about themselves? I have used Continental Van Linees before. I actually promised my sales rep Alec that I would write something good about them online since my service with them was so good, and when looking on line to see where to post a comment I find this. Very unfortunate. Although, at the same time these posts look a little fake. Either way, I would like to speak my word about Continental. I have moved many times before with United Van Lines, American Van Lines, and even tried to do a self service move with a company called We-Haul. Somehow with all 3 of those companies my price went up on the back end of my move, and I felt like a hostage when trying to get my drivers to deliver. With Continental I had no hidden charges, and my move actually went according to how they said it would. A first for me, but not a last. When I move again, and Im sure I will, I will move with Continental.
Thanks Alec! |
