We booked a limo to pick us up at 10 am the morning we were getting married. We first called the company at 10:05 because the car was not at our house yet. They first told us the driver was sick and they were looking for another driver and someone would be here in 15 minutes. At 10:30 we called again and they told us they were still looking even after they told us someone was on their way and was rude and told us people are allowed to get sick and we should take a taxicab to NJ where our ceremony was to be. We were meeting family, friends and the pastor at 10:30. The owner called us at 10:40 and said someone was on the way but he was not going to be dressed properly. At this point we were now 10 minutes late. He arrived 10 minutes later and we did not arrive in NJ until 11:10 when our ceremony was to begin a minute later. The limo was dirty and the tinting was coming off and their logo was on the other window. We drove to the ceremony site and of course, no red carpet as promised. The bottle of champagne was left for us in a coors light disposable cooler. Our ceremony was supposed to be 45 minutes and was cut down to 7 minutes. With family that drove over 4 and a half hours to see us get married they got to see a train go by because our ceremony was so late. My wedding vows were ruined and there now was no video! We returned home and were instructed to pick up a full refund the next day. We went into his office and instead of the $240. we were promised, we paid cash and yes have a receipt, he gave us a check for 160. Said it took the driver 4 hours in total which was impossible since the drive there and back was 20 minutes and my ceremony was 7. We were not given the services promised. We deposited the check and thought it bounced. When we called to ask the owner he said he stopped payment on it because I yelled at him. |
