On 5/3/2011 we located an engine at European Only Orem UT. We called 800-443-6886 talked to Russ and purchased an engine for a 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5L M.T. turbo. We then faxed our credit card information to 801-224-0400. Our credit card was charged 5/3/2011 for the amount of $3200.00. On 5/6/2011 we received the engine with no receipt and it was the wrong engine we needed a turbo engine and got a non turbo engine. On 5/17/11 we notified Russ at European Only and he said he would call back and never did. On 5/19/2011 we shipped the engine back to European Only in Orem UT with R&L Carriers pro#826688592. On 5/23/2011 European Only received and signed for the engine we returned. On 5/24/2011 we again contacted Russ at European Only this time for credit for the returned engine and he said he would call back when the boss Scott got in, never did we hear from Russ or Scott. On 5/31/2011 we contacted Russ again at European Only and he stated that they had mailed a check to us for our refund. Never did we receive a check from European Only. On 6/17/2011 called Russ and he told me to call back on Tuesday when Scott would be in to discuss the credit. 6/22/2011 called European Only again Russ said he would call back when he finds out when they will send a check. On 6/28/2011 left a message with Russ for Scott to call to find out when a refund would be issued. Once again we contacted European Only on 9/01/2011 and Russ told us to just dispute our credit card that he doesn’t know why we have not received a refund and of course Scott wasn’t in to talk to. So we took further action and called our credit card company and disputed the charge. The credit card company looked into the situation and couldn’t help us because it was past the deadline for dispute. So we attempted to contact European Only and talked to Russ once again this time the call was recorded. He stated he knew exactly what we were talking about and that the engine was sitting there in their shop and they didn’t plan to refund us but we are entitled our refund and he stated that was correct but that they were not going to refund us. We have all the documentation to back up our statement and also have the recorded conversation that you can listen to in email. |
