Daily Cleanse 360 Company sent me monthly supply even though I had already called to cancel. Would not refund $. Internet, Internet

I signed up for the "free" month trial and cancelled within 3 weeks of receiving the product. Was told that I had called in time to stop shipment from going out and that nothing further was needed from me. A couple of days later I received a monthly supply in the mail. That prompted me to look at my checking account and I noticed a debit for $99. So I called again and was told to write "return to sender" on the unopened package and ship back for refund. I did this and a couple of weeks went by with no notice from the company and no credit to my account. This set up a series of phone calls from me to the company where I was told that the product could not be located, but that they would continue to work on my behalf to ensure that I got my money back. I spent hours on the phone with these people and only received platitudes and lies. I had decided to just let it go and write off the money when it occurred to me to try going through an attorney. I contacted pre paid legal and was given a form to fill out for them to send a letter on my behalf. Before filling anything out I called Daily Cleanse again to inform them of my intent. That same day I received an email informing me that a credit was forthcoming. The credit showed up on my account 2 days later. The bottom line is that I did everything I was supposed to do in order to cancel the monthly subscription and they sent it to me anyway and charged me even though I had not authorized them to do so. I can't label this as flat-out illegal, but shady for sure. I can't help but think of all the people who wind up giving up as I had almost done. Scam, Scam, Scam!
