17th of Jan, 2011 by User355872
I recently went to a cuisine sante international presentation in Ottawa, Ontario where they gave me a live demonstration of how the cooking products work after the presentation was over they were trying to force me to buy their products. I asked myself what the hell did i get into they make other cookware sold in other stores like walmart, bay etc look bad its awful and the prices were totally f**ked up. 300 dollars for a kettle comon anyway I bought there sh**ty kettle when I used it on my stove at home this shi**y thing didn't heat up my water for my morning tea I felt so angry I threw this piece of crap of my balcony into the trash dumpster i just lost 300 bucks. I am so pissed off with these scammers what can i do to get my money back from these liars? Don't get fooled into buying there shi**y products use your common sense people.

OH PLEASE, this Cuisine Sante' International in Ottawa on Innis Road is full of s*^t as we are presently trying to get our money back from this band of thieves. We spent far more only to find the products are not worth 1/4 what we paid for. For starters, the pots handles which are switched by the santé scammers whom use the BergHoff name to sell there inferior pots and pans are nothing but a grease and food magnet in design which will be next to impossible to clean properly. Check out the pictures on line - Google it and see. Secondly, the lids have seals at the base of the handles that hold water and the pots discolored after the first use, on medium heat as recommended by "Chef Mike" so he has appointed himself.
Do your self a favor, go take in a free meal with lots of freinds and see the side show but go in armed with the knowledge that they are out to take you money and have no interest in as they preach "making you a satisfied customer".
"Cavet em tor" - Buyer beware!! We let our guard down and got taken - please don't be as nievie as we were ...

I also attended a performance by these "band of thieves". They put on a show that make you believe that you will save money by somehow needing to cook less food. They make tones of claim but never show anything to substanciate them. A millionare would not pay $2700 for set of pots and pans...$3600 if you finance it through them. I you see them, RUN..or go for their entertaining free meal with their "chefs"

We also attended a free dinner at Cuisine Sante in Ottawa about a year ago. We were impressed with what we saw and ended up customers (cookware, Der Triumph, dinnerware and salad machine). Since then, we've been back to purchase their knives. We thought the deal was a good one and gave us really good value for what we spent, especially since everything we bought is guaranteed for life. We did have some issues with the cookware discolouring but when we contacted them, they were able to help us out with that. We are happy customers and have even refferred friends and family to them. I'm reading some of these posts and am very puzzled - is this the same company? They're located just off Innes Road.

Please people, use common sense!
Kettle comment: Who would be stupid enough to believe you cannot boil water in ANYTHING that holds it and goes on a stove. I suspect this person lacks the intelligence to turn the stove on...hence the reason you would throw a $300???? kettle away
Band of Thieves comment: I went to the show, spent 2 hours watching them do what they claimed (seeing IS believing) did you fall asleep? As for the millionaire comment, which one actually cooks their own food?
CSI customer: my internet research shows only 1 branch in Ottawa, others in Canada include: Montreal (2) Toronto (2) Edmonton and Vancouver.

Wow!!! You all are talking about purchasing a Tea Kettle that is defective, FIRST OF ALL instead of wasting your time and brain capacity in writing a compliant, when this company specifically indicates that they have a LIFE TIME WARRANTY on their products. So, if the Sh?!ty Tea Kettle doesn't work, GO GET ANOTHER ONE! But I guess some people like to waste their life COMPLAINING!

FYI: I WENT TO THE LIVE COOKING SHOW AND THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT! VERY INFORMATIVE AND PRODUCTS ARE FANTASTIC AND I RECEIVED A COMPLIMENTARY TEA KETTLE FOR REFERRING PEOPLE TO THE SHOW, AND IT WORKS GREAT!!!
SATIFIED CUSTOMER!

I went to Cuisine Sante with my husband a couple of weeks ago, enjoyed a great meal and was pleasantly suprised of how much fun the evening was. I never felt pressured into buying anything, we actually purchased the Cookware and we love it. I guess it's true seeing is believing, they showed us things at the live cooking show that I have never heard or seen cookware could do!

Okay, we went to the show which we were invited to with a promise of a 100 dollar gift and a free meal. We show up for this informercial, they say the pots do not stick, heat spreads evenly yet i saw them mixing the chicken a couple of times claiming it needs attention. We got offered a lot of things after the eating to purchase the cookware. It seems like they really want to sell that cookware and so can throw in anything a time share based trip, a cheap Der Triumph, and or something else so you can part with your 2600 let a lone the handling fee so almost 3000.

Think a bout it, if the der Triumph a lone cots 2300, the pots cost 2300 and they throw in some thing else which atleast will be 300 or more. How does this make sense? How are they making money? The prices do not add up so somewhere in this equation someone is cheating, not disclosing the actual value of these products or their origin and as you can tell it is not you and me.

Have you considered how they are able to afford all these "gifts"? The truth is that you have been already ripped off through buying a set of five pans, an apron, a book, etc masquerading as a 27 piece cookware set. This way they can make you feel better by throwing in stuff that is cheap. These products could be made in China for 40 bucks a pan, boxed up with a Cuisine Sante logo and Germanised with a Munich word and sold to suckers who have no time to check out how free a free meal really is.

In our case we researched the products and realised they are not from Germany as claimed, there is a lot of companies offering even money back guarantees with the same products for half the price, the exercise machine is hmmmm you guessed it. Cuisine Sante does not have a refund policy, the lead you to believe you have signed a contract with them because their goods are final sales. We are talking of 3, 000 pots and pans, how can they be non refundable?

We went through a long process to get our money back and these customer service oriented people made us beg for our money back, they kept creating excuse after excuse, we have been given the run a round but we are not backing down. Obviously they were ashamed! We are getting our money back anyway its been five days now, i guess some time before Jesus returns.

My advice is that before you go, DO NOT take any cheques, credit card or debit card, go for the free meal and rush off. If you stay longer, you will be sorry!!!

They are now on this page too writing some comforting words, wait until they suck you in. I challenge Cuisine Sante to verify the claims they make a bout their products which supposedly multiply food, are made in Germany, etc.

Hey I am Paul’s wife (the person who wrote the earlier comments wife), on our behalf I would like to apologize for the earlier post, it was all a misunderstanding, we were just very angry at the time we wrote that post. Everything got fixed; chef mike the person we spoke to after was very respectful and very professional. Also just to clarify they do have an amazing show, and there products are great.
Thank you

We also went to this ''free cooking show'' in wich they tell you how great their products are and how healthy you'll be... well let me tell you that have been working in restaurants for years and what they reprensent as high quality cookware is not. Fore sure you don't need water when every meal you make start with frozen vegetables or frozen chicken it creates its own steam, furthermore they'll show you an old sauce pan that has been used on a gas oven, believe me am a chef and I know what a pan that's been used on a gas oven looks like. If you think there presenting you a great deal than take a look at this website and see for yourself http://www.angelfire.com/az2/waterless/Stainless_Chopper.html They'll also give you a free trip well make your homeworks and do a little research on google and you'll see howmany unsatisfied customers there is.
Hopefully people will listen to me and won't loose their money...

Gracious Canada,

how did you get your money back? My fiance and I are going through the same thing and they're telling us how complicated it is to do something like that and how they've never done that before, and commission has been paid, and stock has been shipped to replace the one we bought, etc, etc. Apparently if we find another customer who will buy then they'll give us our money back but I don't think I'd want to refer anyone there now. What was the process you had to go through? What did you have to tell them?

Overall food was soggy.

They just steam cook everything and I find the cooking very one dimensional.

You wont be able to sear your food with the methods they are suggesting.
Veggies were soggy, cake was soggy, chicken and rice were soggy.

You need oil to properly sear and add more dimensions to your cooking.

Pressure/steamer/rice cooker also malfunctioned I think during the infomercial.

The whole night I felt like I was in a infomercial. Food was okay, but its free? Just sit through 3 hours and you'll get it. I do recommend not bringing a credit card or cheque.

Dont give them any hope that your going to buy, or else they will push and push. Got a little uncomfortable as to how hard they were pushing your product. Just say, oh didnt bring any credit card sorry!.

Whenever they give deals to buy on the spot it is always a scam. (i.e buy tonight and get two extra cookware free!! and a free time share! lol) Do your research and make an educated purchase. If the quality of their product is really true, they wont have to pressure you to buy on the spot. You will come back if there product is that amazing.

but hey not complaining got my free meal haha

`We are going through the same ordeal in trying to get our money back. Anyone with information regarding how they managed to get their money back, please let everyone know. We tried to talk to `Chef Mike` and he was completely dismissive. He wanted nothing to do with giving out money back and was quite arrogant on the phone. Definitely avoid this place. If you`re that hard up for a free meal, make sure you get the hell out as soon as its done and don`t even bother speaking with them. BE WARNED...

I recently went to a Cuisine Sante International show when I was referred by my friend. When I had asked about the show on the phone a pleasent young woman explained that during the live cooking show they teach you how to cook and eat healthy, while saving time and money on groceries. I was a little skeptical but brought my husband in for the dinner anyway on our date night. I went into the show with my guard up expecting some kind of pressure sales infomercial situation. By the end of the night my opinion was completely revised. The food was delicious, "Chef Eddy" was entertaining and the option to purchase at the end of the night was available but not at all forced!! Seeing is believing!! and I was more than happy with the products I went home with. I love their concept. Overall it is fantastic cookware and even when I had minor complications with it their customer service was very satisfying. I highly recommend going to the show, even just to enjoy the dinner and learn some interesting information. I would never eat out of department store cookware again!!!
