I came into this store called Computer Mega Mall after seeing an ad on their website, www.computermegamall.com for a Power Mac G5. It seemed like a decent deal and I needed one for an older version of software I have that will not run on Intel-based macs. The person who owns the place introduced himself to me as Syed Mia, seemed very friendly at first although a bit weird, and I ended up buying the Mac. When I brought it home and tried to use it, the fans would start revving very very loud and it would randomly shut off. I could not install updates, the machine would crash. Sometimes it would not start up. This was how I got it, I could not even install software on it because it was having so many problems. I called the store and spoke to the owner, after he had my money he was a completely different person. I told him what was going on and he told me "Well what do you want me to do? Come out and fix it for free? I'm running a business here I can't fix your mistakes for free.' He clearly did not understand that the machine had serious problems, and refused to even listen to what was going on with it. He became very foul and very rude, and told me not to bring it back and hung up on me. Of course I brought it back, and I told him right away that he could not treat people like that and I wanted a refund. He laughed at me and started swearing at me, and told me to take my machine home and screw myself. I paid cash for it or I would have left it there and done a chargeback, I stayed for another 30 minutes and tried to hook it up and show the idiot what was going on but he just left the store and told his employees to "watch him and call the police if he doesnt leave". I finally gave up and went home with it, and brought it to the Apple store the next day, they would not even look at it because they told me it was too old. It really wasn't that old but whatever, I brought it to another store and paid $60 to have it diagnosed and they told me the logic board was bad, it had bad capacitors and the hard drive was failing. It is insane that this company calling themselves Computer Mega Mall is still even allowed to operate. The owner is a foul, vicious, disgusting idiot of a human being and I cannot believe that he gets away with treating people like that. I Googled his name and it turns out he is using a fake name, his real name is Hamidur Miah, and he is actually an illegal immigrant who was ordered deported because he was not supposed to open a business with a student visa. I don't know how he is still in the country.
