I am a shoe freak and have bought everything from Jordans, Hyperdunks, Zoom Kobes, etc...and never in my life would I think that a $300 would be the biggest WASTE of money I have ever spent! I was told about Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL) shoes by a brother in law and I ended up buying them for my birthday Oct 21st. I received them Oct. 25th and immediately returned them 2 days later because there was a flaw in the shoe that would cause a blister over my right big toe. They issued me an RMA number and sent me a new pair which arrived on November 9th. I had the same issue with these shoes and decided to wear play in them one time to see if they would be an issue as there was a spot of above the big toe and a spot on my left pinky toe. I was excited to play in them to see if they can really do what they say and increase my vertical...which they DONT! It was the most UNCOMFORTABLE shoe I have ever played in...It left two big blisters on my feet (I have Pictures). I called APL the Monday (Nov. 29th) following Thanksgiving weekend to get an RMA to return them. Hugo was the worst customer service rep I have ever had. Once I told him I wanted to return them and get my money back....he put me on hold for a long time, to see if I would eventually hang up...and then he got back on the phone and told me there was nothing he could do to help. He informed me that there was only a 10 day return policy. FOR A $300 PAIR OF SHOES???? You would think they would bend over backwards to make sure their customers are happy! What a joke! I realize that these shoe are just cheap and not constructed very well. Flaws inside the shoes on two different sets that I received is just a sign that APL doesn't spend a lot on the shoes and plays off the "BANNED IN THE NBA" as a marketing ploy! One of the biggest wastes of money I have ever spent! Bottom line is that the shoes are piece of crap!
