On June 12, 2011 I purchased a 7x7 spa and cover from BBQ Oasis. I was told that I had to pay the entire purchase price of $4181.25 at that time. I was told that the cover would take about 2 weeks and I agreed to have the spa and cover delivered at the same time. After the 2 weeks I called several times a day and left messages for Gilbert the sales person. He never returned my calls. I went to the store 3 times before I was able to meet with Gilbert. Each time I was told that the manufacturer was having personal problems and that it would only be another couple of days. On July 3rd I was told that the cover would not be ready until the 10th and they delivered the spa without the cover. Upon delivery I was told that someone had stolen the manuals, waranty and filters and that they would have to go to LA Spa the next week to get replacements. At this point I again said to the owner that this was supposed to be a brand new spa from LA Spa how could it possibly be missing these items? He assured me that the spa was not a refurb and that LA Spa would supply everything that was missing. I called the next week and left a message. No one returned my call and so on Monday the 11th of July (a month after paying in full) I again went to the store. I was told by owner that the cover was ready and that he would personnally bring the cover,,manuals, warranty,and filters to my home on no later than noon, Monday July 18th. In addition, he said that he would make sure that the spa was fully functioning before leaving. I still had not heard anything from them as of 11:30 so I called the store AGAIN. Gilbert knew it was me calling and said that his father was working on it and would be here sometime today. I am doubtful that I will get everything as promised if he even shows up at all. Therefore, I want to urge people not to purchase items from this business. In addition, I would like to know what recourse I have if I do not received my items and the spa is not functioning properly. This is absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced.
