Problems I had with Beutler Heating and Air 1. Beutler installed a unit too small for our home. (I was told the unit only provides air and heat for a 900SF home, not 1300SF. No wonder we are all burning up in here. Now we have to buy additional air conditioners. 2. Beutler added 5 pounds of refrigerant for a five year old unit that 'supposedly' had a leak. They wanted $800 to check out the leak. I hired a different company. Turned out there was no leak. Rather, Beutler never put enough refrigerant into the unit to begin with when they installed it. Also, now they put 2 1/2 pounds too much of refrigerant (which I was being charged for) which was just as bad for the motor. 3. Beutler wanted $995 to clean the duct. I refused The other company took pictures and showed me the ducts were so clean that no cleaning was required. 4. The other company charged me $100 for labor and material for the two run caps. Beutler quoted me nearly $500 for the same service. 5. The origianal appointmt I had with Beutler was 3 weeks ago. I drove two hours round trip to the house, waited for 8 hours, no one showed up, even after I called for a confirmation. I called again, the lady who answered was rude, she said other people's service was more important, therefore too bad that I had to wait. No explanation why they didn't even bother to call to let me know. She refused to accomodate my schedule and scheduled for another appointment two weeks later.
