In my opinion, to put it lightly, this company does a terrable job at marketing to sell your car. At the end of a 3 month contract term, after filling out the refund request form certified mail, I did not get a refund. I disputed the charge on my credit card after waiting another 30 days. This company preys on craigslist customers trying to sell a car or truck. This company uses a team of salesmen to convince you that they have buyers on their database who want your car. They convince you to pay $249 to market your car for 3 months, with the guarantee that if your car does not sell, a refund is issued less a small admin fee. After signing up and competitively tweaking the listing at the advice of AMS with a good price and good photos, nobody called about the car, not a single person in the 3 months. I even lowered the price, after it was listed 2 months, and still no calls. ALSO look at this: they have a website link to some rating company I have never heard about and it deceptively makes you think they are accredited. Look at the info in BBB. 423 complaints in 3 years. I quote the BBB: "Auto Marketing Systems is NOT Accredited by the Better Business Bureau. The firm is not eligible for Accreditation with the BBB due to their volume of complaints. The BBB continues to receive calls from consumers stating that the firm told them they were members of the BBB. The firm is actually stating that they are members of the Online Business Bureau which is in NO WAY affiliated with the Better Business Bureau system." After the 3 months of wasted time, I went back to advertising the car myself on craigs list and ebay motors, and I started getting calls again from interested buyers. AMS is in the business of getting signup commissions, not selling your car. In my opinion, stay away. You will waste 3 months, and probably not get your money back.
