My wife tried to suprise me with a backup camera purchased & installed on my truck from AUDIOMAN. Well let me tell ya how suprised I was when she brought my truck home. To begin with the wires from the camera were drooping from the emergency brake cable where they used zipties to "secure" the cable. Upon further investigation they drilled an oversized hole in the rocker panel to feed the cable into the cab of my truck instead of going through the firewall. I had to reinstall the interior rocker cover myself. (I guess they could get it off but was too difficult to reinstall properly). The camera itself was a sometimes worker meaning sometimes it worked when backing and other times it would come on for no reason at all. When my wife called AUDIOMAN to tell them how unsatisfied we were they offered to take the item back minus the labor install price. Two days later my wife called to have it removed and the manager (Rick) informed her that the owner said they did a professional job at a good price and they will not do anything ... camera purchased & installed on my truck from AUDIOMAN. I stopped in at AUDIOMAN for a face to face and I was told (by Rick) they will see me in court for slander. Imagine that...... We had the equipment removed and oversized hole repaired at our expense by another company who we feel are the real professionals. In conclusion we now have an expensive backup camera sitting on the shelf in my garage that was poorly installed and occasionally worked.
