I purchased Your Baby Can Read for my daughter in late november early december in 2010. I recieved in about a week after ordering the product. My daughter did not have any interest in watching the dvds and only cared about opening and closing the flash cards. So about a week later i decided to return the product. I didn't want to pay the full price for something my girl wasn't going to use. Before i returned the product i looked online to see what others thought of the product, something i should have done before i even bought the dang thing. Online i read that a woman got scammed while trying to return the product, she said that they claimed to never have recieved her package and took the money out of her checking account. So having read that, before i called the company for return instructions i went to my bank and got a new debit card so they didn't have access to my money, then i called their customer service for instructions. The lady told me that the return address was on the package it came in, all i had to do was put it on the box and also put a number real big on the box. I shipped everything right after calling her. I even returned the "free gift". I paid around $20 to ship everthing to them. A month later i recieve a letter from YBCR saying that a payment was missed. I called them up and they state that the package wasn't recieved, it didn't suprise me. I told them i shipped it to them and they asked me if i had proof. So i said what good is proof going to do, what are they going to all of a sudden find the package? i gave her the tracking number and she said if they had any futher problems they would call me. I thought it was settled. Nope. I keep recieving letters from them they say they want a receipt that i shipped it... how dumb. so here we are a week away from may 2011 and my package is still "lost" and i still "owe" them $269.85... which is currently in collections. My advice to anyone thinking about buying this product.... don't. You're better off letting your kid watch nick jr. This company is a scam. This company is dishonest, and i will tell everyone i know how much this company has pissed me off. |
