| Okay so I was eating lunch one day at the UTC at UCI...some lady comes up to me asking if I've ever been skydiving. Yes I have. She pulls out these two cards with promotions on them for a whole bunch of outdoorsy activities. I was a little weary because there really wasn't any information about the legitimacy of this website..but their agent told me that there would be no fees if I canceled. All she needed was to take down my card and in 10 days, if I didn't cancel, they would charge. If I did cancel, that they would just not charge me. She assured me that I wouldn't have to pay anything and told me it was a 10 day trial to see if I can get another student to split the cost ($100) with me. If I couldn't, then it would be okay and she recommended me to cancel and said it would be no cost to me. The contract is distinctly different than the one online and what was told to me verbally. Orally, I was told 10 days, written on contract was 3 days, online contract is 5 days. Everything is out of order and confusing about this business. Furthermore, I asked to view the website before purchasing. She told me not to worry about the website at that moment, and that if I didn't like it later that I can cancel within 10 days without being charged. She literally said "just cancel online and you won't be charged" despite what the contract says. She also told me that I would be getting 2 lift tickets per card, totaling to 4 lift tickets. I specifically asked her if it would be 4 tickets, and she said yes. Online it is clear that it is only 2. It seems as if she was falsely advertising the products. I told her I wanted to check out the website first to read up on everything, but she said that it was okay and that there was nothing to be charged on my card if I decided to cancel. This is false advertisement and deceptive marketing to COLLEGE STUDENTS, who don't have any money anyway. All of the "Free stuff" that you get to try -- yeah you have to pay for rentals..and if you check the website of the rentals the rental "fee" is as much as it would be if you just booked through the regular website (see malibu surfing website)..which is $85-$185. Skydiving is $185 for rental fees and you jump from 8k......I paid $205 for a 13k AND a videographer. Oh yeah--I tried cancelling, they gave me the "read the contract, it says there will be a fee." OKAY, well your AGENT TOLD ME to not worry about any fees AT ALL cus I wouldn't be charged if I canceled within 10 days. The website says 5 days, the contract says 3. It's all confusing. It's a $30 CANCELLATION fee. WHY? I DIDN"T USE ANYTHING AND CANCELLED WHEN I GOT HOME ~6 HOURS LATER. SO they want you to pay $30 our of $100 back for the promotion. SHADY BUSINESS RIGHT THERE. I was hustled. BUYER BEWARE. The agent's name is Sheila by the way. |

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! - DO NOT TRUST ROZ LOWE & XTREME SOCAL
I worked for them for 2 weeks... Roz (the owner) does not have you fill out any paperwork if you work for her and she promises you the world, she talks bad about her emloyees behind their backs, their offers are not legit, and she didn't pay me the money she owes me. I called three businesses listed on her site:
Business #1: "XTREME SOCAL? I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THEM."
Business #2: "XTREME SOCAL IS A SCAM. DO NOT TRUST THEM, THEIR X-CODE DOES NOT GET YOU ANYTHING."
Business #3: "I'M NOT EVEN IN THAT BUSINESS ANYMORE. TELL ROZ TO TAKE ME OFF OF THE XTREME SOCAL WEBSITE!"
This business is the worst kind of scam of its kind. DO NOT TRUST ROZ & XTREME SOCAL!!! Roz was laughing at the fact that people buy a piece of paper from her for $100. DO NOT BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE.

| I worked for them for a few weeks as well, I wasted so much time working for them. I wish i would have known that they were not planning on actually paying me for the work I did. Its been tough for me right now because I don't have a job, and I wasted tons of money on gas for this job, wasted tons of energy selling some of these promotions that I never recived my commision on. And worst of all, they are not just scamming their employees, but they scam innocent college kids who are allready broke. I truly belived this was a legit promotion at first, I feel soo foolish looking back. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. The second I found out it was a misleading scam, I could not sell anymore, but I did try to get my paycheck for what I allready had did. They decided to stop answering my phone calls when I actually tried to pick up my paycheck. Roz and frankie kept playing games saying "he said you were gonna get check from him, then he would say "as roz" then roz would say talk to frankie, so on and so forth. After all of this calling and texting, and games they played with me, RoZ had the audacity to say I was harassing her. All i wanted to do was to get my check and never talk to them again. I am currently looking into taking some legal action. I think more people need to come out and talk about their stories with this company, so we can put this lady in Jail for being a fraud. |

I'm the owner of Xtreme So Cal. I started my business when I was 15. I'm now turning 17 I started this business to promote health and fitness to people my age. I never thought Xtreme So Cal would be so successful initially. My mom has been a big support with many obstacles some were people taking me seriously due to my age. In fact because of my age had to overcome certain things a 30 year old would never have to. Justin Olsen claims to be the owner of Western Marketing & Media and is a 31 year old man whose been trying to bully and extort money from me and my business with internet slander, Justin/MR.O came to my company for employment off Craig list posting for sales people wanted. We originally passed thinking he didn’t have enough sales experience. This position is commission based, He called my mom for the job she gave him a chance. If he could sell he would just like everyone else be making about 40% commissions. When he realized he wouldn’t be successful he suggested he had other ideas to sell frm home/online, we were optimistic, but none of his ideas panned out. He ultimately made one sale. I have many reps able to sale 5 to 8 coupon books a day, for those who are good at sales they really like the job/ freedom to work their schedules, or as a team. Justin Olsen of Western Marketing & Media has and is now attempting to extort money from me, he kept our products like a ransom, told us if we didn’t give him a certain amount of money he'd keep 5000, 00 dollars worth of merchandise, he would slander Xtreme all over the internet as this was his field and forte. I’m not going to be bullied by this guy because he thinks I’m a kid. This guy sends my business emails daily saying look out; I’m going to get you, emailing a countdown as to how much time before he begins slandering my company online/ bully mentality
I had to get the sheriff’s involved. I’m 16 he’s 31, what he’s about is illegal we’ve sold over 10, 000 of our coupon books Perhaps he’s jealous that I’m only 16 and more successful. This has taken a lot of hard work, a lot of late nights, I was not given Xtreme by wealthy parents or family members, in fact my father passed away the same year I started my business from juvenile diabetes n probably had a lot to do with my drive in a business focused on living healthy. We have tones of reps that work here love their jobs, are good at what they do. We don’t scam anyone or rip anyone off. If someone feels different I simply give back their money I've let many people keep the product, as our guest. I go out of my way to keep my customers happy. I will not be bullied by a 31 year old who doesn’t want to work, who because of his internet knowledge on how to hurt a company wants to extort money from me. I won't fall prey to this man’s slander to get money. I hope people will read this, and know we are a good company that truly cares about our customers. |

WOW SHUT UP! YOU ARE NOT 16 YEARS OLD. YOU SCAM COLLEGE STUDENTS. NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR PITY PARTY OVER THERE.
You do NOT give back money. You charge $30 for a "refund" ... 30% of the product's cost. You didn't even call me about this "time-sensitive" refund until 2 months later. UCI PD are looking into this matter...
I am NOT Justin Olsen..check out the YELP reviews about this place. I am the first person to review them..and I'm tired of people emailing me for help to get out of this SCAM that they were pressured into.
PS it's not slander..slander is spoken. ...and it's not false. Call those companies and ask. |

CLEARLY, it's not just Justin who is having "issues" with your company. I am a student at UCLA, and was also scammed. Your company uses false advertising and shady business practices to get people to buy a product that is basically worthless. Sorry kid. Xtreme Socal has a horribly unethical business plan and even uses scare tactics to keep people from canceling their packages. I called OVER 20 businesses listed on your website. I asked to speak with a manager at each company, and they said either 1. they didn't know what Xtreme Socal was, or 2. the "x-code" didn't get you any sort of deal at all. Another thing that NEEDS to be changed (if you are planning on avoiding more lawsuits) is that the contact information is entirely useless. If you list a contact number, it's a pretty good idea to answer your phone.
Every kids' dream goal is to start their own successful company and to make tons of money. But really, if you're doing it this way, you should be ashamed of yourself. Really truly. You are doing a horrible thing. If you really have sold 10, 000 coupon books, I'd say at least $900, 000 were from customers who had too late realized that they were being defrauded. Bravo. |
