I do not recommend anyone order ANYTHING from this site. Type autopartspeople reviews into google and look at all the negative reviews. Add this one to the list. I ordered nearly $400 worth of car parts from them. I got an order confirmation but that's it. After a few days i never got tracking info or any updates as to where my stuff was. I sent numerous e-mails asking for the info, all of which went unanswered. Finally after TEN days...and ONLY after I threatened to put a stop payment on my CC and cancel my order was I given a response. Their response? That they were waiting to hear back to me on a previous e-mail. This is a complete and utter lie. They never sent any e-mails. I am in the IT business. I know how to check my spam filters and how to check if one of their e-mails hit my e-mail server.I never recieved an e-mail because they never sent it. Their e-mail went on to say that 1 part was not available as there was no stock available. I told them to just send the rest of the order. I again asked for tracking info and confirmation of the new pricing minus the parts they couldn't get. 2 days go by and still no response. In this amount of time, I ordered the parts FROM FORD that they couldn't get and the parts already arrived at my door. I wanted to cancel right then, but I figured i would let them finish the order at this point. Finally, 3 days after my last correspondence with them..TWO WEEKS after I placed my original order, they send me another e-mail. This one tells me that some of the items were "only stocked at an alternate parts depot" and it was going to be another 3 business days before they had them to ship to me. I told them to cancel the order, since this was beyond unacceptable. Had I waited I could only imagine the total time would have been about a month before I got my parts. I was able to order all the parts directly from Ford and at THE SAME PRICE as autopartspeople were selling them. 4 days TOTAL from sale to parts in hand and I have all the parts I need at my door. Autopartspeople could not even respond to an e-mail in that time. They did cancel my order right away, within few hours from when I sent it. So they obviously had been receiving my previous e-mails which were ignored. Also they never even offered any sort of apology or anything. I simply got an automated e-mail that my order was canceled. If you read other reviews on them you will see others with the same experience. Don't waste your time with these idiots. |
