WCMS is what is known by. Georgeanne ROgers is the owner operator. She will bring 1099 contractors on and implement a contract. BEWARE!!!! If she becomes in a bind or feels confronted, she avoids phone calls, texts and emails. Recently, there was a team of 30+ 'sales reps' in Arizona. When her contract with Dish Network was abruptly cancelled, she withheld not only pay but commissions that needed to be paid out for over two months. Georgeanne claims to be an outstanding citizen, but when it comes down to it she is a liar, thief and no one in their right mind should be doing business with her. Definition of a 1099(independent contractor)- no set hours, no set dress, no set materials or tools. Definition of an employee(w2)- set hours of when and where to work, set uniform, materials to aid with job performance, meetings, set and mandatory training. Based on these definitions, Georgeanne didn't employ 1099 contractors, she had employees and is still trying to avoid paying taxes, unemployment and other incurred fees that go along with payroll. Most recently, when commissions were paid from April(now June), the only 8 people not paid were men of color. These reps are owed money. I am owed money. Her explanation for not paying them is that she was saiting for charge backs. Well, the way the contract read is once installed and first bill paid, that defines a sale. If she had any other set up with Dish that is on her poor business sense. She had convicts, and frauds working for her. I advise to be wary of conducting business with this person or her entities. I leave you with this.... If you were a business owner, you discovered some shady actions going on, when you go to remedy them... Would you (a)extort signatures from the existing reps, so that you don't lose your work force, (b) get rid of all the trash, pay what's owed and move forward, or (c) continue as if you don't know a thing? Georgeanne chose the later first, then she resorted to the first. In December she decided to get rid of two trouble makers(that she had put in charge), because she felt their contracts weren't binding; she told everyone that if they didn't sign a new contract with her on the spot, that they would not be paid their commissions from October and November, not to mention daily pay. So, put behind the eight ball, they signed. Only to discover they would have to fight for their money each and every week, month after month. Thank you. |
