MultiView Bills for Internet Listing Never Completed Internet |

I get on behalf of some school association. The sales guy is selling a directory listing for the association. The Association has 50,000 members. They need to buy our stuff - so a listing for $395 a small investment to get the eyeballs to our site. Great deal -where do I sign. They send a bill. A month later AR calls for payment - no problem but where is our listing? The AR person is not interested - you have to speak to the sales person. She doesn't offer to fix the problem or pass me to the salesperson. The sales person is no longer there. The directory listing is also not there. The bill still is there and they insist I pay it. I will pay when they put up the listing. I check the site under our company name and product name and to this day I do not see a thing. This is fraud - they are billing for a service they do not deliver. Meanwhile I now get calls from a collection agency that makes themselves sound like a law firm. The collection agency is just as boneheaded as Mulitiview. I ask them for documentation - they fax me the invoice. I ask them for a copy of the listing - they don't have one - all they have is the bill. Their job is to collect the bill. I mention to them that multiview had a number previous claims against them through the better Business Bureau about their billing practices. So now I get the intimidation of you better pay up from the collection agency. For what? There is no listing and no documentation that there is a listing - just an invoice. I call that fraud and I call them all criminals. If I send them a bill for 'consulting' they will not pay me. At least I would have some documentation - the 10 minute calls of harassement. That has to be worth something. If they get the listing online today - do you think I would trust those slime balls with my credit card? You have got to be kidding! They would charge the whole amount and not prorate it. I will have nothing to do with multiview or any association that uses them. That means if the American Association of School Administrators or the American Association of elementary school or secondary school principals has a conference. I am not going to get sucked into exhibiting or sponsoring them. These associations, and many others, have sullied their reputation by 'getting into bed' with this whore of an internet marketing firm. |
