November 22, 2010 I place an order for a wand at Abby Willowroots store and pay via Visa card. Shortly after that I emailed Abby to ask about the crystal that she mounts in the wand and she didn't respond to that email so I called her to ask. She says she puts synthetic crystals in the wand. I wasn't interested in a synthetic made from quartz due to the heat restructuring the geometry of the crystal so I asked about buying a crystal somewhere, having it shipped to her and then having her mount that and she said that was fine. So I spent a lot of time shopping around for a crystal of the exact size and found one, paid $47 (rounded to the nearest dollar), had it shipped to her and it arrived the morning of Dec 6th between the hours of 9am and 10am.
On December 7th around 11am I get notified that my wand has been shipped. I thought wow that was fast! About three days later I'm going home to check my mail so it isn't sitting in the door where it could get stolen and it doesn't arrive. Dec 10th at 7pm I get an email from Abby stating that she got the sphere and will be shipping it on the following Monday the 13th. So I contacted her about why I was notified about it being shipped when it wasn't and she explained that she hired someone to help her out as she claimed that her husband died of cancer so she some setbacks. Fine. I didn't mind and I accepted that. So when Monday comes I thinking great, my wand is finally being shipped out and I'll get it soon. I asked her if she's rush ship it seeing I provided there crystal, lessening her expense being that she didn't provide the crystal in the wand and she said sure.
So starting on the 15th I'm checking my mail again to make sure that it isn't sitting in the door where people can steal it. The 17th comes and goes and I still don't see anything in the mail. Expedited shipping would have gotten here by now. So I contact Abby about a tracking number and she claims that she never shipped it. Not only that, she didn't even bother to let me know that she didn't ship it. So here I am wasting my time checking the mail when she never shipped when she said she would and didn't bother to contact me.
At this point I feel quite upset that she's screwing with me. Her husband dies and she needs some time deal with that. Understandable. But she's had my quartz crystal sphere in her possession for the last 13 1/2 days and the order was placed 26 days ago! Abby claimed that she hired someone to help out in this time yet she still can't mount a sphere and ship it in 13 days with help! That doesn't make any sense to me. Her website says "Usually ships with 3 - 4 days". I don't even know if she's going to ship it on Monday (20th) because she's already made that claim once before and didn't follow through nor update me.
This is frustrating! She has made me waste my time and cost me money over her irresponsibility here. I feel I deserve at least a minimum of 50% discount off the wand for all the crap deception/mistakes/incompetence... whatever you want to call it as a refund to my credit card. Your personal problems should not be made to me mine unless you're going to compensate me for it. How respond you? |
