US DIRECT PROTECT On behalf of Omnisure? SCAM ARTISTS Costa MesA, California |
26th of May, 2011 by User665290 |
I recently purchased a policy from US Direct protect, I paid 200.00 dollars down and was told I had 30 days to cancel my contract. When my contract arrived in the mail I reviewed it and found that it was full of loopholes and was not something I would be willing to pay for, I have a better chance saving my $2488.00 dollars myself and putting it towards repairs than paying it to these guys. The contract itself is very confusing and misleading apparently US Direct Protect is only the vendor of the contract, the actual company that pays claims is Omnisure. Needless to say I called US Direct Protect in April and told them I wanted to cancel my plan, they said I would have to send them a notarized letter, which I did. Then at the end of the month of April, my credit card was charged $127.11 from a company called Omnisure. I called omnisure and told them I had sent a letter to cancel my policy, they said that my policy was indeed cancelled but not until May 2, 2011, I requested a refund and they told me I would need to contact US Direct Protect, I contacted US Direct protect and their 1-800 number rings a few times and then goes to an answering machine. I left a message and have not heard anything back. I would like to get my $200.00 dollar down payment which was charged to my card from US Direct Protect, as well as my $127.11 which was charged from Omnisure. I'm not sure why two different companies are involved in this issue but it seems like a giant scam to me. I have disputed the charges with my Bank and am hoping this matter will be resolved soon. To all those who are debating the purchase of an auto warranty protection policy, do not go through these guys, use a company that you have researched and know to be trusted, after having these problems and seeing everyone else who has the same complaints I dont think it will be long before this company is shut down. |

And you don`t leave your name or a way to verify what you say. Sounds to me like a competitor. US Direct Protect has the fewest complaints in the entire industry. Check the BBB. They have 17 complaints in 4 years. Warranty Direct who is half there size has over 150 tjhis year. Please. This is an invalid complaint. |

We at US Direct take all complaints very seriously.
Any disputes may be resolved directly with our customer service department, or through a third party such as the BBB or the VPA.
This complaint has no customer information listed, also our customer service department has not received a complaint from any of our customers about this incident.
All complaints filed with US Direct have been fully resolved, as can be verified with the BBB.
In the last 3 years we have only had to resolve 12 complaints.
Compare that to other sellers such as:
US Fidelis -1285 complaints
Warranty Direct – 183 complaints
MOGI – 201
Stop Repair Bills – 512
Clearly this is a frivolous complaint from one of our many competitors since there is no way to verify or correct this allegation.
US Direct has the least amount of complaints of any seller in the country and processes the largest volume of new accounts.
We will be investigating this complaint in hopes of locating and helping the customer in question. However it is most likely this is a false complaint. |

I just had a claim Paid by US Direct Protect. They asked me to do a review for them and I said I would be more than happy. Their price was the best. Their policy covered the most. Their agents were the friendliest. What a joke this is when you really look at it. US Direct Protect has the fewset complaints in the industry. They are on the Lifetime Channels the Balancing Act every other month because they are the mosr respected company in the Extended Auto Warranty Industry.
Thank you US Direct Protect,
Paul Eberle

I was told just yesterday by an individual identifying himself as the Office Manager, Mark Prince, that this company was not affiliated with BBB because the BBB was "a local club full of gangsters and thugs" and that they only reported to the Department of Insurance. I was told this after inquiring about a cancellation of my policy and, after 4 weeks of phone calls, only ever reaching someone by the name of Kerri. I repeatedly asked for a supervisor or owner but was always told that the manager was out of the office. It was not until I asked if they were affiliated with the BBB that my call wax finally forwarded to Mark Vince. I'm still waiting on the refund of my payments after now three weeks of making repeated requests. As of this date, I'm told that the status is still "pending". |

This is not a direct complaint on US Direct Protect or Omnisure. However, CONSUMERS BEWARE! There is a recently formed business in Florida called ES Auto Solutions, who is allegedly selling extended auto warranties on behalf of Omnisure. The owner/president of ES Auto Solutions is a two time convicted felon for mail/wire, bad check, mortgage and bankruptcy fraud. He is residing and working in Florida, but may have a MA or CT business address. I believe he is working from "home, " because I have yet to locate a "business" address. I have, however, confirmed that ES Auto Solutions' phone # is 561-594-1910. As of today, 10/14/2011, It is an active phone line. The owner of ES Auto Solutions was the owner of and/or affiliated with Peace of Mind Housing Solutions (CT), S&S Home development (CT & MA) and Gotta Go Green Energy Solutions (MA & CT.) All three businesses were (but I'll say "allegedly were, " just to be politically correct) managed with fraudulent business practices, and of course no longer exist. ES Auto Soluitons is his most recent endeavor.
CONSUMERS BEWARE and DO NOT purchase ANYTHING from ES Auto Solutions.
Signed,
One of the countless victims of the owner of ES Auto Solutions, a MASTER CON MAN |
