| United Equitable Insurance supposedly sold liablity insurance to Beata Kogut of Zion IL, her daughter, Marcella Kogut, was driving her car with her permission and on 2/21/2011 entered the intersection of Hebron and 23rd Street Zion IL causing an accident with my car, driven by my son with me as a passenger. She gave truthful testimony to the accident investigator taking the report. Since my insurance company, State Farm contacted them the following day, I have spoken to Juliet Driscoll (claim adjuster/United Equitable) who, on several occasions, told me there was no problem and payment would be sent to State Farm. To date, 4/27/2011, no payment - and dodged phone calls. It is over 2 months for an uncomplicated claim for damages totalling $2925.47 and no injuries resulted. I can not get a straight answer out of this company's representative, nor can the subrogation department of State Farm. My only course of action is the Illinois Department of Insurance. | I have a similar story, although it's been 7 months and I still have not received settlement that I agreed to with United Equitable / American Heartland. Juliette Driscoll has done nothing but dodge my phone calls and refuses to send the settlement (stating that payment has been sent and blaming me not receiving it on the USPS). This is a terrible insurance company and Juliette is a pathetic excuse for a life. |

I have very interesting case with United Equitable insurance and worst experience with Juliette whatever.
She told me that all my files are confidential and I can not have copies of my file. I was hit by State Farm Insurance and there was no need for lawyer. But because United Equitable Insurance stuff treated me like an intruder and discriminated me I decided to sign a contract with a lawyer against State Farm Insurance.
A few days ago I found out that I never signed a contract with a lawyer. I did signed a contract with Russian, who had finished only high school in Russia. Juliette told me that she knows AL (lawyer who works with this Russian) because she works with him. So I believe she news Russian also.
I'm going to file class law suite against United Equitable Insurance, Juliette whatever who doesn't have respect for anyone. She lied to me and always was very unpleasantly. Also this law suite will be against the supervisor. These people shouldn't be in any business. This man should have psychiatric examination. |

| I am in a very simmilar situation with United Equitable Insurance at the moment. I agree thet those people are scammers. very rude and act as no law is above them. I talked to alawer and they told me to file a complaint with the Attorney General. I am having a very negative experience with one of their adjusters named Carmen. I left multiple messages, with Juliet Driscol and their supervisor, whos name nobody seems to know. This is a scam for sure! |

| i am haveing the same probem with a manager by th name of carmen i have spoken to her many time she want let me talk she gave me a selltement without talking with my bank i think this insurance is a scam they deducted money from the value of the book and didnt pay my car off now im stuck paying for a car i dont drive becaus of them they woudnt pay the whoe selttement not good ppl in this company |

| I've actually just settled my claim with United Equitable Insurance and everything went smoothly. Maybe it just depends on your claims person. My persons name was Ray something but he was very nice and took care of my claim quick. |
