| Took money, did not complete the job, very poor quality work |

We contracted with Daniel A McCord, but he took our money and did not complete the job. At first his crew (Jason McCord, Toby Ranck, and a few others) did show up and did some work, but the quality was poor and they did not work full days or every day. Some of the work was so bad it had to be ripped out and redone. After a period of time, even though they were paid to do the work, everyone stopped showing up and Dan was slow to correspond, using all kinds of excuses as to why he and his crew could not work. There were deaths in the family, illness, divorce, etc. Then he brought Shane Kae Tunbridge in, saying Shane Tunbridge would be our point of contact moving forward even though we had no contract with this person and did not know him. Even though there was no contract with Shane, Shane told us he was there to help resolve the issues. Both Shane and Dan promised delivery of materials and they were going to show up to do work, but each day there was another excuse as to why the materials were not delivered and why they were not doing any work. Ultimately both Dan and Shane stopped returning phone calls and answering emails.
We would never recommend them to anyone. Dan walked away with our money. While we did not contract with Shane, he made promises on Dan's behalf that he did not keep. If you sign a contract you are putting yourself at risk for low quality workmanship, and ultimately losing your money. |

| We also hired Daniel A.McCord, We paid Dan $67, 000.00.it was the 1st.Draw of our contract.After our basement was in.Dan came for the basement check amount $8, 842.25.Dan then informed me that his mother Catherine L.McCord was dying in a Phila. Hospital.Dan couldnt build our home! Dan continued this lie for 2 months.We were mad so he had his Assoc.Shane Tunbridge call.Shane also made empty promises.We then learned that Dan kept the basement check! Our basement was not paid for! Dan then said his mother Catherine L.McCord died on June 2, 2011. In total Dan promised us that our logs would be delivered 7 TIMES!!! I finally fired Daniel A.McCord on July 7, 2011.I then wrote a review about what Dan had done to us. I included my name an phone number.I recieved a call from another coupke Dan stole from.They informed me that Daniel A. McCords mother Catherine L.McCord is alive and well.We compared Dans excuses! We dont think Dan ever planned to build our home.Dan stole $67, 000.00 from us!. We saved for years to be able to build our home.Dan destroyed it.Dan lied about everything!Dan told me how he held his mothers hand when she slipped away! Dan also told us that he was going to therapy daily because he could not deal with losing his mother.Dan is sick! I think Dan has alot of problems. I think jail would helpDan the most. |
