WTF Wholesale Suppliers Corporation is no more.....or are they? This business ran a very successful Ponzi scheme for the past year, systematically ordering Frontline Plus from innocent veterinary vendors and then stiffing them for payment. They would order between $25K and $50K at a time and never pay the vets who placed those orders with Merial, Ltd. This has caused many vets to lose their credit or go bankrupt....all due to Todd Stefaniak, Nancy Ben-Hamo and Kay Carpenter, the ring leaders at WTF Wholesale. On August 19th, 2011, WTF supposedly ceased to exist. They disconnected all phone lines and (as reported by their law firm, Cobb Cole) "went out of business" due to a "weak economy". What do you think my economic outlook is now that I am $25K in the hole to them? Interestingly, the very next day a "new" company opened by the name of True Lines Distributing in the very same building with the very same employees. If the economy was so weak for WTF, how did they re-open with the ability to pre-pay their veterinary customers at $10K per order? Likely from all the capital raised in their Ponzi scheme that ran for the entire previous year. It is also of interest that True Lines is not incorporated in any state in the Union. I would be very wary doing business with them! We have been unable to get law enforcement involved in this case, yet there are literally hundreds of veterinary vendors involved. The level of fraud is in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and likely in the millions. How can a company legally dissolve and re-open without declaring bankruptcy or having any kind of legal notice? If you are a victim of this fraud, please contact Mike Mittelman who is a private investigator working the case in Daytona Beach, Florida. |
