Citimortgage Cant find their A** with Both Hands!!!! Anywhere, Nationwide |
30th of Dec, 2011 by User228439 |
After reading the many reports against CitiMortgage on this site and elsewhere, I had to voice my opinion. I have been fighting to keep my home for 3 yrs going on 4. I have been lied to (temporary modification) given the run around, given numerous different answers.....the same complaints most of the reports here and elsewhere are voicing. On November 2, 2011, after requesting a mediation with Citi Mortgages attorney, I was granted one. I met with my attorney, a mediator and the attorney representing Citi who once seated dialed someone with Citi Mortgage who needed to be in on the mediation. This person was allegedly located in MO. Once the initial reason was expressed for being there, we were to split into seperate rooms for mediation, as is customary. The attorney for Citi stated she did not want to split into seperate rooms as she may not be able to get someone on the phone again if she hung up. WHAT???? This is their attorney and the attorney cant even be sure of getting someone she represents on the phone???? We did split into seperate rooms, their attorney staying in the room with the precious connection to the Allmighty Citimortgage. The offer I made was straight forward with no negotiating. It was a cash offer for the house (which has an un-remediated sink hole) in exchange for the deed, the dismissal of the lis pendins and no deficiency judgement being placed against me. CitMortgage's "ghost" person on the phone stated that they were unaware there was a sinkhole on the property since I did not escrow insurance with them and would have to investigate the claim. (They would have known if they had listened to me when I reported it to them.)My attorney sent immediately to them the claim I made to my insurance Co. and the engineers report which is public record. We were advised they would get back to us within 10 days with an answer. That was Nov. 2 as stated above. It is now Dec. 31st and still no answer. My attorney has attempted on 3 different occasions to get answers from Citi's attorney. She said she didnt know and for him to call them. I called them and not only did they tell me they couldnt talk to me until they were authorized to do so, they couldnt tell me who I would call that could talk to me or my attorney. Again, more lies. Who else in this country has the right to do whatever they feel, when they feel and how much they feel in court proceedings and it still be legal?? Why do we take this kind of treatment when its our tax dollars keeping them in business in the first place??? To all those folks who say those of us in trouble are freeloaders and attempting to get something for nothing I say wake up! God help you if ever you fall on hard times! Even if your home is not in foreclosure and you still have the means to pay for your home, the banks are laughing at us...all of us. They collect the big bonuses while we keep struggling just to understand why and how they get away with all the corruption and fraud they commit on a daily basis. |
