After considering Together Dating after filling out there questionaire mailing form and taking calls to possibly set up an appointment I had decided not to a few times and then on the third consideration decided to go in. I had thought this approach might be different and more personal than the online sights because here you have someone who knows the other person actually exists and you never know how many ads online could really be fakes.
So first I called and set up an appointment and went in. They first had me sit down with one of their so called high pressure sales people (alias-Dating Counselors) and they talked me over the package details and the costs being straight up ranging between $2500-$10,000 and told them I didn't feel committed to pay that much right up front ahead of time and then they tried to mention you can pay for it with prorated the cost between several different credit cards of yours. After the initial discussion of costs with this alias Dating Counselor I told her I needed to consider it a little more before deciding whether I wanted to do it.
Next they brought in their customer service person who asked me questions about how I was satisfied with the Alias Dating Counselor and the choice of packages. The Customer Service person asked me if anything was mentioned about financing for these plans? I told her no and then she showed me payment plans and I gave that a look and thought it was something that was more affordable and decided to give it a try. The high pressure of trying to pay it all up front should have been the red flag.
I then signed up for a monthly payment option I could afford and then they brought the alias Dating Counselor in and asked me a bunch of questions and filled out my description and sounded all hopeful with all the information I needed.
The end product was nothing like they said. We will work hard to match you up with those that fit your preferences. That was not true at all said I wanted someone with no more than two kids and they gave me ones that had 4,5 and even 6 kids. Also wanted local matchs within an hour of me and they gave me people I found out lived over an hour away in the middle of nowhere.
They have plenty of people to choose from? That was a lie because they would go awhile without referring me anymore people I asked them what was going on and they said they were looking hard and then they gave me people they had sent a few months before and said it was a mistake.
Those that I did make contact with on the phone told me what a joke they thought the service was also and didn't think it was worthwhile.
Conclusion is they don't match you with those you say and just probably pick you with whoever they have to match up with out of desperation. |
