Ostrow and Company Page Ostrow Took over 10K to sell my film Beverly Hills, California |

Page B. Ostrow riped me off for over $10,000 of my investors and family money to represent my film. She promised me film distribution. Page showed me all these examples of her clients making big bucks. She said my film would make lots of money like these other films within six months. Six months have gone by and she has gotten no deals for my film at all zero nothing she took my family money. I could of used this money for other things. Page Ostrow and Ostrow and Company is a filmmakers scam! |

Ostrow is a Sheister. She is a liar and a scam artist. She get film makers to pay her and that is the money she uses for her publicity campaigns to make her look good. She just rips film makers pff and never gets their films anywhere. Any decent distribution would never take her seriously...just call them and ask. She is doing a modern day boiler room. She should be put out of business! |

Page Ostrow is one of the most ruthless scam artists in all of Beverly Hills. She claims to be well established in the film industry and to travel to film festivals to speak yet she wasn't even to make it to our film festival. Her reps are super pushy and promise the world, but refuse to provide specifics or references. None of her films get releases, and in fact if you take a look at her website her film "Another Harvest Moon" never even had a theatrical release. Stay far far away from this company, and tell all the filmmakers you know to stay away too. |

I had the unfortunate experience of working w/ Ostrow and Company, too. She pursued me relentlessly after my film appeared in a film festival. As soon as she got my money-- she stopped taking my calls. She pawned me off on an assistant, and mailed my Native American niche doc off in b ulk mailings. No personal touch what-so-ever; no personal resources. She got ne a deal finally-- with a company that refused to pay my SAG actors -- meaning I would have to pay them from my paltry percentage and after their take and their expenses. My lawyers told me the deal would more then likely end up costing me money. I tried to contact her numerous times to see if she'd still rep me if I didn't take the deal-- no reply. Her "best efforts" clause is iron-clas and no lawyer would rep me for a lawsuit-- but I took her to small claims court in Beverly Hills. I lost -- but it was a supreme pleasure to telld her to her face in open court just what I thought of her. |
